What would you have in your ideal kitchen ?

I'm trying to get a list of things together for kitchen designer's visit and was wondering if there was anything (apart from the obvious pan / plate storage) that you wish you had in your kitchen

So far I have
.. a place to keep bits and bobs that aren't necessarily kitcheny (kids health books / medicines etc)
.. storage for long-term things like juices (we buy in bulk)
... utility cupboard for mops / brushes / ironing board

brain dead ...

Shelves and a tall cupboard for my mops and things. I also have underfloor heating fantasies.

Our kitchen was free as my DH is ceramic tiler. It was nice when put in (2 years ago). But I would like some space saving devices. Regarding the built in cookers. I recently spent 500 quid on a new canon (dillydally - it has grill for cheese) with an eye level grill. Very very safe for DS, 14 mths. It looks terribly old fashioned but my SIL pursueaded me. She has 40eee breasts ( big mothers, trust me) and one evening she decided to to a bit of cheese on toast for her & DH whilst wearing her french drawers. She reached into her low level grill and forgot about her tits. They got terribly burnt and the only good thing about it was when she told me. (My SIL loves to have things co-ordinating). I told her at least your tits match & co-ordinate!!!! This is why i did't get a modern oven.
