How do i get my hair like this ??

O.k i'm off to a party in a couple of weeks and would like my hair to look like \link{http://www.getlippy.com/getgorgeous/hairstyle/jossstone/this}

My hair is a bit shorter than that and dark but thats sort of how i want it, curly but not proper curls iykwim.

I can usually get it to look like that with a lot of effort but it all drops out within an hour or so.

my dd has got some angel curlers (basically a spiral curling tong. You could buy them for your dd as an xmas pressie (and use them yourself now!!)

Are they the pink ones Jampot ??? I looked at them the other day and thought the same as you

What about rag-rolling it? Roll it up in strips of rag when it's wet, tie the strips off and let it sry naturally (overnight is good) then just shake it out when it's dry. You need quite thick hair, though.

OK you need

2 large curling brushes
a clip to section
a clip to hold the brush!!!
styling lotion and gel spray (strong hold)

get hair to damp , add litons and gel, section hair and start at the back, use brush to straighten and then roll hair in brush , hold and blow with cold air. hold brush in place with a large clip!! and leave till cool, use next brush to do next section and by the time thats done u can then release the other one , do this by undoing a bit and then twirling brush to leave hair slightly in spiral, DONT TOUCH!! leave all to cool completely then run fingers through carfeully and separate and smooth with fingers.

ITS a lot easier than it sounds!!!!! I do it quite a lot. My sister is tarinign to do tv af film hair and make up , so Ive been gievn some great tips and tricks !!!

Rags god that takes me back. My mom used to do my hair in them when i was little.

What stuff can i use to make sure the curls stay in though ??

what about that stuff that old laydeez use, i think it's called setting lotion and you used to be able to get it in squirty see through bottles for about 50p in boots

Hmm thats does sound hard melsy, i am all fingers and thumb when it comes to hair.

I do have a pair of curling tongs and can get a good curl but it drops out to quickly.

I wondered about that bundle, will have to have a look at it.

I used to have my hair permed when younger and even then it never stayed curly for long.

I have "natural wavy hair" and somedays it looks good, other days I look like a frizzball. Best thing I have found is to use a teeny blob of frizz ease and let it dry naturally.

If you have straight hair, go for the spiral tongs.

My hair is brown with a few highlights and it is dead straight and just below my shoulders.

Slightly easier method with similar result (if your hair is thick). Use lots of setting lotion, blow dry hair to damp upside down to give volume, then blow dry gently from top whilst twisting finger lenghth sections of hair with your fingers

Exstensions would be great but out of my budget unfortunatly.

use your straighners!!! wrap your hair round your finger and ease your finger out so your left with a loop of hair straighten the loop and keep it on for bout 10 seconds take the irons off your hair and you'll be left with a funky rock chic curl, honest it looks fab migh need someone to help do the back thou x.... apparently its how the stars stylists do it, i did it sat night and felt so glam xx
