zubb · 20/10/2004 12:24

did you all see the same thing?
maybe you should try it again Coddy!

We've got Natalie from Eastenders, Kim from Mel and Kim, and Sarah Greene doing it - not very exciting line-up really.

i give up... i can't find it

hatmum · 20/10/2004 12:36

Saw it in London and thought it was fab; bits of it made me want to cry and bits of it made me cry with laughter. Loved the last bit about giving birth. Go!

I meant Miriam Margolis. Eve Ensler (the writer) came and gave a talk at our work once, which was really moving. Since writing the play she has done a huge amount of work on violence against women. Check out www.vday.org. I found bits of the play very amusing, but, tbh, I don't think it's primary aim is to be funny, I think there are messages that go a lot deeper than that. But perhaps I come at it from a particular perspective (kind of work-related).

Not seen it. Know I would sit watching it with a poker straight face.

jenkel · 20/10/2004 15:14

I went with a group of girlfriends to see it and really thought I missed something. OK, I was just coming down with Flu and felt terrible but it just passed me by, a few funny bits but nothing special.

But then 'Mums the word', brilliant, fantastic, never laughed so much

Nimme · 20/10/2004 17:55

Loved it

posyhairdresser · 20/10/2004 18:29

I loved it but the cast changes all the time so I think a lot depends on who you get. I saw Meera Syal, Lesley Joseph and have forgotten the other one!
