I dont want anymore babys. Is it just me?

I have 2 dds nearly 7 and 4. I knew that dd2 would be my second and my last. I have no desire for any more children. I am enjoying them for who they are and dont drool over other peoples babys like some folks do...am I alone or are there others?

i am happy with one dd! might consider more if had more help and more family, but your not bad for deciding that 2 is enough...its your body and youll be the one with the lions share of responsabilty..ill back you up love!![smil]

blimey of course you're not the only one! sounds like you adore the children you have so why on earth would you have more kids if you didn't feel you would cherish any more? i know plenty of people that feel like one is enough!

Not at all. I knew the minute dd was born that I didn't want anymore. I've had horendous pregnancies. Hospitalised 5 times before ds was born. I miscarried a baby as well before I had ds. So in theory had 3 pregnancies in 2 years. I now have ds 3 and dd nearly 2 and am quite happy with my lot. Trouble is our drs won't give dh the snip because I'm under 30. The biggest load of codwallop I've ever heard.

Am 34 weeks PG and this is DEF the last one. Was a nanny for years and drooled over babies but that has worn off since having my own!! My ds is 2.6yrs and 2 is def enough for me. And DH.

I am planning on having one more(trying presently) which will make two but am very sure that will be all. Despite the desire of my parents and in-laws!

I swing between wanting more and not wanting more, but i don't think it's odd for you to be completely sure you don't want anymore.

yes woke up int he midel of ht night head swimming and feeling wretched and had to sit next to loo
forgot all about it he next morning till ab out 11

honest opinion? i've got 2 and would love more... but

can't afford it on all fronts - financial, damage to my body, damage to relationship, loss of self etc etc...

still, can't bear to give away maternity or baby clothes just yet...
