no i think that was all the names, think i tried a few more out aswell. just stuck with snmum as everyone recognised me immediately on the SN board which was really creepy!! made me wonder if when i go shopping people 'know' who i am but dont say anything

Thread's too long to read all of it. Something that seems to work for me is NOT using Active Conversations but just going to home page and to the sections that are of interest to me, otherwise you get sucked into all sorts of ag!
I've never been sure what to make of Coddy or her posts, don't know if she's being funny or rude so generally take them as funny. Which brings me to another point, there seems to be a huge loss of sense of humour sometimes on MN.

OK, my pems thread stank! Just read down half this thread backwards (difficult in such a chatty one) and agree with amfs. In most groups it seems you get the prissy set without much sense of humour and the piss taking swearers. Like to think I'm one of the latter. ALso I can never quite reconcile the "each to their own" view with "why bother coming on here and asking a question or stating an opinion", isn't that what its for?
