If you have the confidence to carry it off (and - dare I say it - the figure) then I would say yes, go for it!

30 IS NOT TOO OLD (I should know!!!)

nutcracker · 30/09/2004 22:32

Ooooh i love it and no you aren't too old.

I would love that for a wedding reception i am going to but i need to tone up my stomach alot first.

How much is it ????

misdee · 30/09/2004 22:32

lol nutty at 'tone up a lot'. surely u mean a bit?

Skate · 30/09/2004 22:33

30's not too old as long as you've got the figure, why not!

pixiefish · 30/09/2004 22:33

definetly go for it... prior to baby would have worn it no problem (figure has since gone to pot) and I'm 34 so you're defo not too old. enjoy...

blossomhill · 30/09/2004 22:33

The other option would be one of those lovely green floaty type tops and a new pair of glam jeans with maybe green high shoes to match. I am also going to have a spray tan as I am pale and need a tan!

£35 nutty

Wow. Go for it. Of course, you're not too old....You're only 30 FFS.

nutcracker · 30/09/2004 22:35

No i mean alot seriously. I look fine standing up straight, but then if i sit down (or breath for that matter) then my belly just flops YUCK.

BH - Did you set out looking for a dress like in the girls aloud video ???? Just wondering cos i watched that vid the other day and thought 'oooh thats the kind of dress i'd like'.

CountessDracula · 30/09/2004 22:35

hmmm it wouldn't be my first choice I must say! Don't think 30 is too old for anything much except bunches though!

blossomhill · 30/09/2004 22:36

If not a top like this with jeans:-

I love the colour

The things in I live in jeans and fancy a change. Although jeans can look really nice

Skate · 30/09/2004 22:36

CD - my dh would disagree and has 'a thing' about bunches!

BH - I'd go for the jeans, high heels and glam top.

nutcracker · 30/09/2004 22:37

Bh - Great minds think alike. I was looking at green tops and jeans with my mom yesterday, how weird.

blossomhill · 30/09/2004 22:37

It was actually in an advert and I often look on the Asos website as they do lovely things at quite cheap prices! I then saw it after on Girls Aloud.

OP posts:
pixiefish · 30/09/2004 22:37

go for the dress- much more 'special' than the top- and it's a special birthday

blossomhill · 30/09/2004 22:38

nc - It's funny you should say that as sometimes when I read your posts you seem quite similar to me!!!

OP posts:
nutcracker · 30/09/2004 22:38

Ooooh thats nice too Bh.
