I would choose DH over my first love ... most definitely ...
TBH FL wasn't that much to shout about when he was 17 but when I met him again when he was 30 I heaved a huge sigh of relief ... talk about letting yourself go ... eeeeewwww ... he was all fat and flabby with about 17 chins and pale and pasty ....
Now, if I had to choose between DH and my 3rd, 4th or 6th love then that would be another story

Dp is my fist love (well if you don't count Matt Goss from Bros!) so I would choose him.

Tessiebear and Ghosty - but perhaps your first loves would have kept up their appearances if they had stayed with you. Perhaps, once you split up, the light went out of their lives!
