I HAVE to sort out paperwork - receipts and bills and filing. And after that photographs and the album of dd's first year that I have been putting off and putting off. She will be four next month.

Please send horrified vibes to make me get it done.

Miaou · 20/09/2004 18:08

Golly, I should be embarrassed to post on here. I need to do a complete clean and tidy - papers everywhere, so much stuff to get rid of, washing to put away (I always leave that job as long as poss), and that's before I even think about dusting and vaccuuming...

MUMINAMILLION · 20/09/2004 18:10

My cooker is spotless (honestly!) but there is a big gap between the cooker and worktops on either side. The amount of stuff that has been dropped down there makes me shudder. Am scared to move the cooker because I dont know what I might find............ I try to convince myself on dull days that it actually looks not too bad. But when the sun shines (but isnt too often thankfully) it looks absolutely horrendous. Disgusting, I know!

Lonelymum · 20/09/2004 18:42

All of it!

MUMINAMILLION · 20/09/2004 19:08

PicadillyCircus · 20/09/2004 19:13

carla · 20/09/2004 19:15

NDP!

NomDePlume · 20/09/2004 19:19

FFS ! The floor really isn't that bad.. It would benefit from a nice hot mop, but you won't catch anything from it ! It looks perfectly clean and free of bits (dark ceramic tiles).....

competitionwinningCOD · 20/09/2004 19:19

yuk
is ut sticky underfoot?

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 20/09/2004 19:21

No, it most certainly is not. Any wet etc spills get wiped up immediately and bits are vac'd up daily.

Still worrying about floorspace between cooker and worktop - dont have anything thin enough to get in there and clean it. Does anyone have any ideas? Or do I just have to take steroids so that I can lift out the cooker?

competitionwinningCOD · 20/09/2004 19:25

NomDePlume · 20/09/2004 19:27

What about one of those wire bottle brushes ? We had a tommy tipee on which had a thin twisted wire handle and flexible brush, something like that should get in the gap.
