findthewebsiteyouneed!!!!!!!

my homepage is google, everytime i turn on my PC it has changed to findthewebsiteyouneed, it is really pi$$ing me off. altho' i don't really know how to, i have tried to block this web site but it has made no difference whatsoever. now i have just discovered that the website cannot be deleted from my history. what are these people doing to my PC?
are there any techies out there that can help? thbaks

I've just got this too but it's called thesiteyouneed or somesuchirritatingtoss. I closed internet explorer and it's gone, do you mean it's going to come back, oh no! I have zone alarm and a pop up blocker installed too.

i did almost all of that but din't post my copy of files listed on notepad on the forum ...it just seemed a very risky thing to do.

well, ours seems to have gone, but i have thought this before and then its back.

it's back

strange thing is, it just seems to happen when i longon as me. if i log on as DH or DD it's OK. is this possible, that it's not getting into the PC just into my settings. does anyone have any ideas?

auntyquated, it must have been something you inadvertantly downloaded when logged on as yourself. Can you save your files and delete your identity to set up a new one?
