"Bikini and underarm ready to use wax strips"

WTF won't they take my hair off???

Its the right length, I am suitably drunk so it doesn't hurt - I have made it very warm and stuck it on hard (it appears to be trying to take my skin off) - so why is all the bloody hair still there????

lmao - drunkness clearly not a factor

So if i want waxing am I actually going to have to pay for it, or is there a better home product (not tried waxing in over 4 years... last time I was pregnant with DD and din't realise the hormones would make it hurt like hell!!!)

that doesn't bother me (is that wrong???) - tis the parting with money for someone to hurt me that I have an issue with, especially as in a few weeks they would want more of it!

DG - not seen you about for a while!

good grief woman - if you must home wax, and your bikini line -well, good luck to you. but if you must then use sugaring (get it from body shop, maybe elsewhere)...that way, when you need to get some off in a manner which does not involve also removing skin, you can just melt it off with water.
drunken inexperienced waxing with wax is a recipe for disaster!

euphoniumhumper · 16/06/2007 00:32

Perhaps you are too, er, hirsute Flame... more ladyrainforest? A little trim first might be in order?

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2007 00:33

Ok - wax is well and truly left for the evening... will look into bodyshop sugaring.

I tend to attack it when I get drunk Manys an evening I have announced a bath with wine and a book, and reappeared with much less there due to an inability to get a straight line!!

(I am sooo going to regret this in the morning aren't I? )

OP posts:
euphoniumhumper · 16/06/2007 00:34

PMSL

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2007 00:35

Nooo - done the trimming - the bit I was attempting to wax was the regrowth from shaving.

Getting to the stage of having the whole bloody lot off - get in the way

Does sugaring hurt more? If you do pay someone, do you not get very or is it like when they do your eyebrows and its done n dusted in 2 seconds flat?

OP posts:
euphoniumhumper · 16/06/2007 00:37

well, I keep my pants on whilst having my eyebrows done...

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2007 00:38

So I just saw a kinky eyebrow woman then?

sugaring is exactly the same as waxing, only is water soluble.

getting whole lot off? as in light/laser permanet whatsit? now that hurts. but not really as much as an enthusiastic brazilian. and of couse, theres no stubble. stubble is a BITCH.

i just cut it all really short periodically with dps lekkie razor these days... tis blond anyway, and if nly v short, tis nearly invisible and no stubble to contend with.

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2007 00:42

Your's grows flowers?!!?!? Damn I'm deprived!!

Eek - do people seriously laser??? I've never had much issue with stubble or ingrowing hairs, so no worries there... shaved it all off years ago and just remember looking like a little girl (hence not doing it since) - just get sick of the constant upkeep.

Don't want it wild because I don't like escaping from knickers etc.

I am sharing faaaaaaaaaaaaaar too much

Flamesparrow · 16/06/2007 00:42

I was thinking that Idris (and Yay for you being back to Idris)

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 16/06/2007 00:44

Am thinking of having myself waxed, but not sure about it. Not right now obviously as I doubt there are many salons open at this time of night.

Maybe there is a gap in the market .
