Looking for the impossible... girls leggings

... ie the straight legged variety. Everywhere I look it is now flared trousers or wide legged tracksuit bottoms. As my dds spend most of their time in wellies, these are not practical! (very uncomfortable when tucked in). I'm on a tight budget too, but I know how much MNetters like a challenge ... .

If anyone has some old ones I can buy off them I will willingly pay costs!! We live on a remote island so not fussy about how trendy/smart they are! Or can anyone suggest where I mihgt find them online?

Ta very muchly.

Miaou -- got your email, will send on Monday!

Meanwhile, you might want to look at this website: Jako-o . They're a German company, but they deliver to UK and prices are cheap (NB in Euros, ie. even cheaper than they look!) Thought these nice thermal leggings might meet your case.

Janh · 08/07/2004 23:56

What a good site! These from Jako-o are only 8.90 euros (£6) - or 6.90 if you get turquoise.

And something else for you - special non-slipping-down welly socks!

I think I will try and find the "no nice boys' clothes" thread and post a link to Jako-o on there, they have some lovely bright no-logo no-character stuff.

However not sure whether to laugh or not when I saw this - it's a good idea I suppose but did it have to be so dark?

What a cool site, frogs & Janh! Most impressed by the clothing - definitely designed with our lifestyle in mind.

I had to laugh at the had-holding on thingy - I've got one of those on my coastguard cap - very useful but you don't half feel an @rse in it!

Thanks for sending the leggings, frogs - DD1 gave me her best smile when I told her!
