I'll post this here and in 'other subjects' too.

Basically I'm doing a 10,000 ft skydive on the 14th August and have also roped in 9 fantastic friends! It's being organised by the Down's Syndrome Association (the DSA).

I have paid for my jump so every penny I raise goes straight to the DSA.

Well my justgiving website has been busy today with all you girls donating. Have to say it gave me a massive lump in my throat, you're all so kind.

I'm over the moon with the amount raised so far form the wenbsite and my sponsor sheet, and I still have time and famiy to collect from.

I didn't realise when I said I'd jump (!) that I personally would get so much out of it. Seeing how many lovley people there are around me has been amazing and really heartwarming.

I went quad biking a few weks ago and was terrified but once I got going I loved it, I'm hoping the same will be true of a 10,000 ft skydivve!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had to come back on and say thanks agin. You girls are something else. I rang the charity with whom I am now on first name terms! i ring and say it's and they say oh hi how's it going?!!!!!! Anyway, I told them about mumsnet and they thought it was just lovley that you've all been so kind and have asked me to thank you.

Oh girls, what a buzz this fundraising is. i've got a spring in my step thinking about how many lovely people there are that are out there and connected to me in some way, it's SUCH a good feeling. Think I might have to go into fundraising full time if this is the sort of satisfaction you feel avery day.

Anuway MASSIVE thanks again. All this makes jumping pout of a plane at 10,000 feet worthwhile!!! They don't have a queasy emoticon but imagine a little yellow, strike that pale white face, all blood drained, a bit sweaty and a hint of green edging in! That's me!

It'll be fine, I just have to concentrat on the reson I'm doing it and it'll all be fine. Now no-one disagree okay. IT WILL BE FINE!!!!!!!!
