Thank you Blush it's only very, very part time starting off in home care. My master plan is to study alongside it and work up to palliative care.

That Christmas name change win was totally deserved limbs of Zombie was inspired.

HerRoyalFattyness · 06/01/2017 21:14

I'm glad you won Christmas namechange zombie you deserved it.

On another note I'm AngryAngryAngry
Fucking bastard ex is already screwing me over with money.
He's paying me £150.
50 of that is what he owes my catalogue.
The other 100 is going on clothes for the kids. (Bearing in mind there's 3 of them that doesn't buy a lot)
So I asked for another 50 to get some more clothes and put towards demons (DD) uniform (she starts preschool on friday) He said I could ask and he would help me out.
Just not this month because he wants a fucking xbox AngryAngryAngry
Apparently I get enough. I'm on benefits ffs it goes fucking nowhere. I'm scrimping and saving to try and put a decent meal on the table. Feeling guilty because it's going to have to be nuggets and fish fingers all week because I've got other shit to buy and bills to pay. Argh.

Fiderer · 06/01/2017 21:49

Royal It is shite, I do sympathise.

Am battling ArseHead at court atm and that's before we get to FidBoy working at an internship for 5 months in Frankfurt for no fucking money at all. We'll be living on air till the summer.

bookbook · 06/01/2017 22:23

Unborn - such a big step for you - will think of you on Monday . Keep courageous.
Royal and Fiderer - no words, but much sympathy Flowers
I had a cleaner for a while , when DD2 was little, and I was snowed under with work. I did more housework in the morning before she came, just to make it so I didn't look terrible Blush

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/01/2017 22:26

Don't downgrade your achievement Unborn, it's fantastic, and so are your plans for the future.
And the fact that you have have them in the circumstances.

All good wishes to you Flowers and (((hugs))

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/01/2017 22:34

Sorry you're going through that Fatty, it's such a familiar pattern isn't it? But that doesn't diminish the shock when it happens.

"Help you out"? Fuck that, he's supposed to be looking after his children, it's not helping you out. It's leaving them without what they need because he's a self absorbed, child fuckwit.

That wasn't a typo. He is behaving like a child.

HerRoyalFattyness · 06/01/2017 22:38

BBB he is a fuckwit.
He's just been on the phone apologising saying how he feels like he's letting the kids down because he can't treat them if he gives me any extra. No fuckwit. You're letting them down if you don't buy them what they need!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/01/2017 23:03

So he's apologising to you, what the fuck are you supposed to do with that ?

He can't treat them, because he needs an xbox. Poor lamb.

If he gives "you" extra he can't be disney dad.

Celebrate the fact that he is ex. Hold tight to the fact that you you are behaving properly, and he is an absolute twat.

Your children will come to realise that in time.

OhTheRoses · 06/01/2017 23:15

Sorry to hear about everyone's tough times. Flowers

Glad the cleaner is a gem. Hope tomorrow is a better day Zombie.

Been out, v tired. Got to turn round early tomorrow to go to Big London for 10.30.

HerRoyalFattyness · 06/01/2017 23:16

Thanks bbb
Disney dad is exactly what he wants to be. The kids already know he's an arse. They saw him walk out and leave me trapped on the floor. They saw it was my mum who helped me up. They were comforting me. Sad a 17 month old baby stroking my hair and kissing me to stop me crying. An 8 year old cleaning up the sick because the pain made me vomit. A 3 year old cuddling me saying "it's OK mummy"
None of that should have happened and they all know it was him that caused it (accidentally) . It was a few weeks ago now but the 3 year old still calls him a naughty girl. The baby just cries and the 8nyear old wants to sleep in my bed with me.

Ohb0llocks · 06/01/2017 23:21

Limbs of zombie is awesome. My fave name change. I'll be singing those words in my head always now Grin

OhTheRoses · 06/01/2017 23:46

Sounds like you are well shot of him HRF.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/01/2017 23:52

That's a really terrible situation to read about Fatty.

Quite awe inspiring that you can keep going, and even more so that you can find the capacity to be here, supporting a complete stranger.

Glad to hear you have your mum close by to help you.

HerRoyalFattyness · 06/01/2017 23:56

There are people who have it a lot worse than me. zombies an inspiration. If she can find the good in things and live life to the fullest then I can keep going too.
I have to keep going. For my kids. They need me to. I feel bad that I have to leave them with their dad when things are so raw, but I need to carry in with college and volunteering so I can give them a better life in the long run.

Mummylin · 07/01/2017 00:03

Will speak to you on owl thread Fatty.
Well done unborn on a great achievement 💐
Zombie so glad that you now will have some help at home. Was just thinking if you need to spend a day in bed maybe it would be nice to get a few bird feeders so you could watch them and their antics through your windows ! Hope the pain has lessened for you now.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 07/01/2017 00:05

Well, that's a wonderful circle of inspiration going on here.

I still think you're a star in your own right Fatty, and your children are very lucky to have you as their mum.

They'll have a good life just because of that, whatever happens.

HerRoyalFattyness · 07/01/2017 00:10

Thank you BBB
Ooh bird feeders. Must get some for here! The kids would love it.

Mummylin · 07/01/2017 00:36

Hey BBB you should come and chat on owl thread !!

UnbornMortificado · 07/01/2017 00:38

Some of you are OK though so I won't give up on the human race just yet Wink

Allalonenow · 07/01/2017 00:45

Have a look at the RSPB website for ideas for types of bird food/feeders to encourage a range of birds in your garden.
I found I had green finches and tree creeper in a city garden, lovely to watch.

Mummylin · 07/01/2017 00:51

Hey allalone I just signed up today for birdwatch !! My pack is being sent out but I did laugh at the bird resistant coffee !!! It's says that in the email I got back, oh and a coaster 😀

Mummylin · 07/01/2017 00:53

UnbornMortificado · 07/01/2017 00:53

People are arseholes excluding the wonderful phalanx and Z.

Some posters on this thread are dealing with all kinds of shit and still supporting others. I'm not a "soppy" person but this thread (and the wooly hugs one) makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Ahem night everyone.

HerRoyalFattyness · 07/01/2017 00:56

I have a tree in my garden which attracts a Robin every year. Just one that's sits on a branch for an hour or so every morning then flies off.
I will try to get a pic when it reappears this year.
