Happy New Year Phalanx and, indeed, all of Mumsnet!!

We've had the wedding. We've had Christmas. Or, as I refer to it: THE MOST AMAZING CHRISTMAS EVER.

Now it's onward one day at a time.

There will be planning of the wake so it's going to be THE MOST AMAZING PARTY THREAD EVER.

At my Uncle Reg's funeral he had "Born to be Wild" blaring. Twas very fitting.

Another one delurking. I have fond memories of watching you getting down on it at the Mumsnet bday party. I spent most of it at the bar. Have been lurking on and off since then.

Bringing rose port for the party. Hope you don't mind, am just having a sneaky swig before bed. Gives me just as bad a headache as the red stuff sadly.

Hope you sleep well tonight Z and Wednesday is better.

Another de lurker Zombie, I think about you all the time, driving in my car, going about my daily chores, I wonder how you are in each moment and always send you love and best wishes. You are an inspiration. You are the bees knees. I send you lots of love and happiness and it's you that has got me to post, the eternal lurker, (I'm a very shy person). Don't ever underestimate the amazing vibes and positive energy you are speeding throughout the phalanx and beyond our dearest Zombie, it it indeed so far reaching that it is unlimitless. DS2 just came in asking me to put the Sleepy Sounds app on, so that's me awake.

And so far I've had to deal with DD being woken up by it, then accusing DS2 of turning it up. He hadn't.

I'm up, drinking coffee and watching BBC world news.

My dad had those drinks as well. Soon as my mum left the house he'd tip it down the sink. Was good to see he was still a cantankerous and spirited old bugger!

BathsLad has Fortisip. He also has PEG, as he doesn't eat nearly enough. I think he relies on his night feeds way too much, although he has them religiously.

Gosh it's early, Bath. Who is that dolt on the BBC?

This time next week I will have to be up at this mad hour, getting the FidLets up & out, but for now, some bugger whack me on the head so I can go back to sleep.
