1.30 athletics - inc 5000m heats (go Mo!), decathlon, women's 800m heats
2pm show jumping
3pm badminton - Ouseph in quarter-finals
5.30 BMX
7pm women's diving
9pm GB v NZ women's semi final
there is also sailing, boxing & golf, but I can only watch so much!
Middle of the night : athletics inc. women's long jump final, 200m women's final, men's semi final

My neighbour's son invented this game: he is a genius. If you have a trampoline with a net, get the kids in their swimmers, chuck loads of water balloons in the trampoline, and watch the kids little faces explode with joy as they jump around trying to burst them.

I have picked most of the balloon corpses out of the lawn now.

Balloon/trampoline fights sound fabulous! I think I'm suffering from late night last night. And DH is off out so I need to feed the child. And myself. And try to get to sleep before midnight.

This evening I need to merge the beehives into one, and then discourage hornets as required. I was not covered in bees Madame (only when doing the beehives). With the hornets I had most of them firmly in a plastic bag for disposal elsewhere (don't ask) and the others were blundering round looking bemused and wondering what on earth had happened to that lovely nest they'd been so skillfilly building. Stupid things. Have no objections to a hornets nest - just not in our shed.
