So today's highlights (hopefully):
Lots of athletics : heptathlon long jump starts 3.45pm, 800m 3am ish (last event); men's long jump final starts 0.55am, Mo Farrah in the 10,000m starts at 1.25am & lots of others

Track cycling starts at 8pm : women's team pursuit & keirin finals

Rowing : men's & women's 8s from approx 3pm

Andy Murray 4pm

Swimming : Fran Halsall & relays 2am onwards

Scrap that re track cycling, some qualification rounds on now

"My honey has exploded" Sadly, I really did mean that the actual honey that the bees produced last year really did have too much water content in it, and has been gently fermenting and escaping from its jar all over the cupboard. I am going to clean it up by rolling Athos in the escaped honey and licking him clean. Anyone else want to help clean the honey cupboard with the HBF of their choice?

Didn't see any shooting stars, got back into the house at 5am. DS punched me in the nose twice and clobbered me over the head once, while he was busy thrashing about in his sleep. Spent most all of the morning in bed feeling like shit. I do not do sleep deprivation any more. Fact. I have put the tent away. Or at last, inside. Haven't actually packed it away because that would be tidy.

There is a fantastic men's discus competition going on at the moment - changes to all the leaders - riveting!
