Afraid not Coddy.
Am getting a bit confused now too. On friday the workman told my friend (new next door but one neighbour) that it was finnished. We thought it was a bit strange as i only looked at it on thursday and it defo wasn't finnished then.
I rang up and was told that they would ring me today with an update...they didn't.
Friend said that the vans have been there again today and the blokes were wearing decorating overalls so they obviously haven't finnished.
I rang up again and the woman in charge still hasn't spoken to the surveyor. She said she will do it tommorow morning and then ring me.

If she doesn't give me something concrete tommorow then i will just have a walk round and ask the blokes myself.

Oh yes it's definatly ours.

Didn't really expect them to finnish it on time, as they never do.

Am justr a bit worried about the boards being down with no one in there.

Oh sorry forgot i posted on this earlier but lost the bloody connection halfway through.

Right i'm viewing it on friday at 10 am (they don't know i already have, but i can't tell them).

Obviously i am going to accept it but then i'm not sure what happens next. They may let me sign for it there and then (thats what i did with the flat) and then i'll be given the keys, but they could also ask me to sign for it over at the West Browich office (bloody hope not) whoch i won't be able to do til next week.

God only knows why they have to make it so complicated.

LOL you lot.

I am going to push for getting the keys on Friday as i'm not at all happy about it being empty with no boards up, and thats what i'll say to them.
Dp has the whole day off so if nesercary we can go over to the office and sign there.

I am getting a bit stressed now as i haven't even finnished the packing, never could of belived we'd got so much stuff, and i'd totally forgotten about finbding a place for my thong, now i'm really stressed

Oh and nope we haven't hired a van, we are going to use Dp's work van and possibly his brothers people carrier.

Right, went to look at it again today, it still looks massive but does need loads of work.
They have painted downstairs except or the hall and stairs which I will now be given vouchers for.
I think i'm getting 180 quid for the hall, stairs , landing and four beds. Not alot i know but at least it'd a start.

We are going to sign for it and get the keys on tuesday at 3pm, will probably then take the kids round to show them and let them have a nose around pick bedrooms e.t.c..
Will probably go round and clean it all wednesday and then spend thur, fri, sat & sun moving in.
We have to hand the flat keys in on monday.

Think we are going to enquire about a van now as i don't want to struggle.

Yeah, we pick the keys up this tuesday coming and then don't have to hand the flat keys in until the next monday, so we have a week (well nearly) to move.

Kids are exited as i told them they can sleep on the blow up bed until their rooms are sorted.
