don't you?

I sometimes wonder why people put their kids up for a short time, anyone can save the photos for themselves

NotAnOtter · 25/01/2007 22:29

what would they do with the that could harm my child?

hunkermunker · 25/01/2007 22:30

Why would you save the photos for yourself?

CountessDracula · 25/01/2007 22:30

well they could photoshop their heads onto nasty photos

It does happen

I just thought I should warn in case anyone didn't realise

I've just tried saving one of the pics from my profile. The file was 6.2kb, so I can't imagine the picture quality would be good enough to photoshop.

CountessDracula · 25/01/2007 22:33

no maybe not

But I was just concerned as people always say "for a short time only" they will show their kids, I wanted them to know that anyone could keep the photos

From a file that is such poor resolution? Really?

hercules1 · 25/01/2007 22:35

I don't understand why anyone posts a picture of their child on the internet or to internet websites.

misdee · 25/01/2007 22:35

i cant access mine to change it. tech is on the case

hunkermunker · 25/01/2007 22:36

I'm very confused about this.

So what? Surely if paedos wanted pics of kids they'd just get any catalogue.

If they take actual photos, are near your child, can get obsessed with them then get busy. But posting any old photos I dont get..is it just me?

hunkermunker · 25/01/2007 22:39

They are, MMJ!

I've just tried opening the pic of DS1.

It's blocky in the extreme.

I struggle to think of how anyone could get excited looking at a photo an inch by an inch with a blocky head on a nude body, but maybe I'm wrong.

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 25/01/2007 22:39

yes it happens. in fact I posted a link in news today about an international interpol investigation trying to investigate people using fake modelling websites to obtain pictures of children which are then put on to horrible images iyswim.

there is no way I'll be putting any pictures of my ds on the web, and I'm not a paranoid person as a rule

CountessDracula · 25/01/2007 22:41

sorry I don't want to spoil the fun of profiles but I just thought maybe people didn't realise
