I sometimes wonder why people put their kids up for a short time, anyone can save the photos for themselves

I've put up pictures of my two, both at the age of two, but that's so long ago now they wouldn't be identifiable from them, and as some others have said, it wouldn't actually do them any harm even if someone did fiddle with their images.
I told DD that I'd put up a picture of her, but only as a toddler & she pointed out that both she & DS and all their friends have myspace accounts so there are dozens of pictures of her on the internet.

We don't have to view the world through a paeodophile's eyes - if we do, then the bad guys have won.

There a valid reasons for not doing it, but if you chosse to and select pics that you would happily have published in a paper for istance, then why not on tinternet. Pics can be scanned from a paper, magazine or even from a print in a photo lab.

I can see that you would eant to bring this to the attention of others and that is a good thing so they can decide if its right fro them. Techi looks ok FWIW.
