Sandy and Alex must stay IN - it'd be dull without them,that's for sure.

Tonight is the house split! Looks good - hope that Alex and Kate end up in the same side of the house...should create some fireworks.

What is Lee doing? Do you think that this is his game plan to get the public interested in him, so that they want to keep him in? My dh and I think that he and his girlfriend have agreed on this plan, so that they can share any money they get from it. Think about it - he wins £70,000, and she gets money from selling her story about standing by her love rat boyfriend. Can't fail! Any self-respecting girl would have dumped him by now - OK, he hasn't had sex, but the thoughts are there.

Sandy totally has to stay - not to win, but to inject some bile. At least he doesn't slag people off behind their backs - oh no, he tells it to them straight. Can't say fairer than that! Having said that, I voted Lynne off for that very same reason - oh well

I cant wait for the house split i think theres going to be a riot or Alex will whine for half an hour at the very least! Not convinced that these housemates will take v. kindly to having no luxuries especialy Alex - cant see him using an outside toilet with his hygiene fetish. As for Lee he's the kind of prat 'I'm not very bright but I can lift heavy things','are my muscles as big as my ego?' bloke you get in Leicester (i live there and boy did I struggle to find a decent one i could write a whole dodgy bf thread!) and nasty Narinder was from Leicester too there givings us a really bad reputation!

I missed it - what did Sandy say about Alison as she was being evicted?
I think Sandy is a revolting big slob.

He said something along the lines of "see, the public can see what you are really like" what a plonker, that just did not need to be said, she felt bad enough. I agree with a lot of you, what is he doing there anyway, it's certainly not to gain popularity!
Chinchilla's therory is an interesting one about Lee and his gf being in it together but is he really bright enough to come up with a plan?
Dh's mate thinks Alisons eviction may have been due to some sort of betting scam as she was 8 to 1 not to leave.

Tinker, I remember you mentioning the Guardian Talk boards on other threads. I am intrigued - are they really worth checking out? I think I will take a leisurely look at them when I have a few hours of uninterrupted internet time - ie when ds is back at school next week after half term.

Tigermoth and Rozzy - just do a search for Guardian Unlimited, and then follow the link for Talk. Have to warn you that there are about a dozen message boards under different subjects, with each containing folders and subfoldes so it takes a while to discover which ones you like. The Newstalk seems to get used the most. They're quite funny, if sometimes a bit cliquey, but then I suppose all seem like that at first.

Oh, and you have to subscribe to use them (which is free but takes about 24 hours).

Yes Rozzy the group has been segregated for seven days into 'rich' and 'poor'. The resident psychologist explained that this will force exhibition of undesirable personality traits that everyone has concealed so far (ie jealousy etc) and test relationships to the extreme.

The segregation task entailed shooting a basketball through a hoop - the first five to achieve this got a place in the 'rich' side. After some discussion they decided to go boy/girl/boy etc and lined themselves up in order - crappest first. One person took a shot, then Sandy ran round and took the ball, shot next and got in!! Sneaky git.

The 'rich' side have been given a £400 budget to spend on food (5 people for 7 days), whilst the others get basic rations of rice, lentils etc.

The 'rich' side get exclusive use of the bathroom, kitchen, proper table and chairs, comfy seating, swimming pool and garden. The others are left to cook on the barbie outside, use an outside shower and outside loo. They have only the contents of a tiny bag so sod all change of clothing etc, whilst the 'rich' have access to all their belongings.

Can't remember who's in which team unfortunately, but should be interesting to see how it pans out!

Anyone else think this division thing is really crappy??? Apparently its not just for the week as everyone first thought, but for the duration. I think its stupid, but what do i know?

I think Alex has really chilled out a lot and seesm generally much more...sane?!

I missed most of last nights +tonights show,has Sandy decided to leave,I hope so and to think I liked him at first he is such a nasty spitefull b**ch.

I hope Sandy stays....you have to have conflict and discord or the whole thing just doesn't work. I have just been on holiday to France where I saw the French equivalent to BB - called 'Loft Story'. This has far more emphasis on getting the inmates 'off' with each other, and is far more overtly sexual. One girl did a very explicit lap dance to a boy; they were both semi-clothed and at one point I thought she was actually going to unzip his jeans with her teeth...ahem. Can't imagine even Kate-the-coquette doing that to any of 'em....The French 'lofteurs' are all very pretty, young and slim, no interesting differences at all.

If Sandy is up for eviction vote him out. He'll only walk if he gets to stay. He is utterly unpleasant.

Apparently the house split is permanent, every week the housemates get a new task and the winners get to be 'rich'. How boring.

Does anyone get the impression that the big brother people have really stuffed up choosing the contestants and are now just clutching at straws? I loved the first 2 but this one is getting really stupid (. Can they not give them something to do like the challenges last year. Sandy appears to have been mowing the lawn for the last 2 days. Perhaps they think they can't cope with an actual challenge it's painful enough watching them comprise a shopping list.

I have to agree with you ames about the contestants. I think this bb is quite boring. There's no excitment in it like the last shows. The diversion has also spoilt the show. I bet Alison is glad to be out, she would never have been able to survive on just rice and lentils!

Poor too - at least Alex is there to make it funny.

I've dreamt about him for 2 consecutive nights now! Do you think that's, ahem, something to be concerned about?
