some Ebay advice please..

I bidded on a book

I got an e mail to say it had ended and I hadn't won it

Then I got an e mail from the seller saying you have won......... payment is £6.51

But it doesn't say 2nd chance offer or anything, or that the original winner hadn't paid

I only won it last night????????????

yes, I have just seen this one

But I still have had no e mail off E Bay to say I have won and it is not in my 'items I have won'

In fact, it is not on 'my e bay ' page at all

I can only see it now from the links you have put on here (Im not mad honestly lol)

I have got 400 feedback all positive, so I have never had this before, I always pay straight away, which is why I am a bit dubious about paying

should I just go ahead and pay even though I have no record/e mail whatsoever off E Bay saying I have won and it is not even on my E Bay page????

I didnt bid on any others until I realised there had been a mistake with the first one and I was unsure about paying

I wasnt bidding on 2 at the same time, just the 1

I have e mailed and explained that I have no recored of winning his book, no e mail and defo not on my won items, I have even got DH to look in case I have finally gone round the bend

But he cant see anything either

it is defo defo defo not in my won items, or anywhere

Good job I don't drink, I would need to drink a whole bottle after this and have a long lie doen lol

Annie, who have you emailed to say you haven't won the book?

Is it the seller whose item you have won?
If so, perhaps you should explain about it not being in your ebay otherwise he could neg you for being a non-paying bidder.

On the other hand, if it is the seller whose item you didn't win, I think he has made a mistake asking you for payment because he has already left positive feedback for the real buyer, hellywelly66.

I'm finding that it is taking up to 24 hours or more for emails from ebay to come through. If I win an item then I pay for it via Ebay straightaway. I don't bother waiting for the invoice unless I've asked for combined postage.

Yes I have e mailed the seller to politely explain why I havent paid yet

Its not just that I ahvent had an e mail from E Bay about it, its the fact also that I can't see it on my home page

Every item I have ever won goes straight into the 'items I have won' section
