Anonymity and all that - why not do a member profile?

If you have so far (like me) chosen not to do a member profile, why not?

I enjoy the feeling of anonymity on MN, and tend to be a lot more open on here than in RL, and chat about things that I wouldn't talk about to friends in RL.

Am I alone in my hesitancy on this?

Also 156 years old, with very pointy ears .

I didn't realise you could do a profile. Mind you, some of the things I've said - I don't want anyone knowing who I am
