Oh I am pleased it's alright. I could never have them as couldn't do the executing. My grandparents had them and would cheerfully wring necks without a thought. Also, we have lots of foxes here. And badgers.

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 22:28

Fronted adverbials (is that right?) - WTAF?????!!!!

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:29

Any further news on that beautiful baby? Lovely news.

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:30

Hurriedly, Comtess got out of the bath suddenly realising it was nearly half past ten and she needed to be up at crack of dawn.

^think that's a fronted adverbial 😄

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 22:32

I'm also too soft to do the executing - I waste far too much time over the summer months rescuing tiny critters from ScaredyCat in particular. I'm not sure she wouldn't have a go at a chicken tbh - when she does get fierce, she is FIERCE. As many at the vets will tell you Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/04/2016 22:33

We have foxes, no badgers. One fox tried to make off with the psychotic feather duster cockerel once. I've never worked out if it was just young and inexperienced and didn't have a good enough grip on anything but feathers, or, if it was older and expereinced and decided that nothing was worth this much hassle for a couple of mouthfuls of mostly-feather, but the cockerel, having vanished in the hedge in the mouth of a fox, came back out very shortly afterwards all indignant and minus some feathers. A fox has been back a few times but so far we've been lucky enough that they've been safely locked away at the time.

Fancy - fonted adverbials. I can't remember; I can't be bothered to look it up again. Google it.

Comtess the baby is still a baby as far as we know Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/04/2016 22:39

Oh - well done Comtess that is a fronted adverbial. You start of the sentence with some sort of word that described how the verb is performed.

ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we could have fun with those.

Purposefully, the HBF strode across the room....
Suddenly, Athos dragged SisterHelen off to the hayloft.

Yes - actually, I like fronted adverbials Grin

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 22:40

Ah thank you comtess Grin

We have foxes too, there used to be badgers under next door's shed, but they have moved out. And bats - I love watching the bats in the garden Smile

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:41

Oooh we have loads of bats. Love them!

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:44

Our neighbours had a badger thoroughfare in their garden. They used to bash straight through big fence panels. They filmed them with a special camera once - the Badgers were HUGE! I know they're a nuisance to some but I am secretly always rooting for them, TB or no.

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 22:46

Suggestively, Aramis removed something from his teeth

Sexily, Aramis gave a Team A member 'The Stare'

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:52

Fancy by Jove she's got it!

Comtess · 24/04/2016 22:54

Right. Must. Sleep. Nos da wenchi X.

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 23:02

Night comtess

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/04/2016 23:02

Grammer101 - wench style Grin

I need to do the bed thing too. Night all.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/04/2016 23:05

PS - GoT complacency alert. Our sky box hasn't automatically picked up the next series even with a series link on. Fixed now, but... Hmm

FancyFancy · 24/04/2016 23:18

I've had that trouble with sky+ helen - bastard box didn't pick up Suits and is fecking useless when the cycling skips around Eurosport channels.

AnneEtAramis · 25/04/2016 07:18

Late to the party but it was pre watershed when we had Aramis/Adele ( mostly funny) and Knight takes Queen (sexy as fuck) so ....

MadamedeChevreuse · 25/04/2016 07:29

Yep and those who've seen ep 1 - without spoilering can you tell if it looked like the content was pre or post watershed?

OP posts:
DartsTart · 25/04/2016 07:53

What time is doctor who on? Is that pre watershed? TM is no worse ....You could probably get away with TM before 9..... To be honest though it is all a blur - distracted by all the FAF in the room - to be fair mainly right behind me .......

DartsTart · 25/04/2016 07:54

Also this is why I love the Tav - marriage guidance to grammatical education within a sentence or two x

LetUsPrey · 25/04/2016 08:02

Morning wenches.

Am dreading when DS1 is Y10 and 11 re revision. Already having a bit of a mare with him re homework v computer games.

Anne you had me at Aramis/Adele and Knight Takes Queen....

Just remembered that yesterday when I read Madame's post about the cat among the pigeons, I looked outside at that point and there were three pigeons in our back garden which then flew off! No cat though.

Hope Obs' bruises are fading and everywench is well.

Have great days x

FancyFancy · 25/04/2016 08:31

Morning wenches

Well I had a dream this morning - about breastfeeding a v small baby FFS. Make of that what you will Confused

Think the violence in TM is more graphic & realistic than in DW tbh (although the Weeping Angels were scary as fuck); the Rochefort perving & the gang-rape-that-was-thwarted & sex trafficking were not not really 'family entertainment'. S1 didn't have those issues, so will it be more like (nto) s1 or s2?

DartsTart · 25/04/2016 08:41

Well fancy when you put it like that - yes post watershed ---- I had totally forgotten about those bits... Must do ANOTHER rewatch .....
