Have had a fuckload of things to do all weekend plus had major argument with boys about fucking about on phones/wifi when they're meant to be revising. So I just killed the wifi all weekend. Locked the hub in the safe in my room. Ha!

Restored it at 9 tonight. I've missed loads! But I'll tell you what... I've got done loads of cooking for meals all week, cleared and charity shopped stuff, biked 45 miles and revised Chemistry. Turns out the Internet is a big ol'timewaster. Who knew?

. Yes, it was a big old row and I felt they needed a proper shock. Hard when they're big and you can't do the naughty step isn't it? . There was some interesting swearing and I was accused of being, well, awful. But there we are. Ds1 was always so good about getting his work done so I never had to nag him. I just feel that ds2 in particular but also 3 are very complacent. Grrrr.

Very pleasing news that the govt have fucked up that yr2 Sats paper. Delighted those littlies aren't having to do some godawful SPaG test. Ds4 has been asking me what modal verbs are. Had to google that one. Roll on July! Too many exams this yr - ds1 has Part One uni exams, ds2/3 GCSEs and ds4 Sats.

It is comtess - DS has grown so tall I can't even look him in the eye very easily any more to give him the stink-eye! He swings between being so laid back I get worried and getting stressed and grumpy. My DSM says my DF thinks that karma is biting me on the arse as my DP always worried whether I was doing enough for O levels . I can't remember being grumpy though (which probably worried them even more - I think I must have been a breezy little shit!)

Oh - little grey chicken got very mysteriously better. Honest - you want a pictrue with today's newspaper in shot? Was very astonished. I've never seen one look so sorry for itself and then get better again (just as well I didn't introduce her to MrMachete and MrWoodblock to put her out of her misery!). Little Black is broody though. studpid thing. Might get her some hatching eggs next time around - DS does love chicks (briefly, before the novelty wears off) It's just a sod if we end up with cockerels #FerretFood #LocalAnimalSanctuary
