I can't understand why it's ok to post JP's pics here, but nothing else. Her pics are far more spoilery than the one I posted. We're desperate for anything new, aren't we, and we've seen them all in their battle costumes before.

fluff Im ok with the ones posted by apes and elk, as they're not spoilery. Agree with apes, we need something to discuss, and it's part of what we've always done before.

I think we're all in agreement that we dont want to see or hear anything spoilery in here, so I dont think you have anything to worry about, really.

That's the point though Madame. What you might not consider to be spoilery someone else might. I'd like to be able to decide for myself. It's not as if there aren't lots of other places that pictures can be posted for those who want to, is it? It doesn't have to be in here, where quite a few wenches have got their eyes closed, their fingers in their ears, and are singing lalala!

It is tricky, yes. It's not a matter of setting rules. There was a convo on a while ago where it was agreed that only "official" pictures would be posted i.e. ones from Jess, out of courtesy to those who are waiting. A safe haven. I get what Apes says about it's what's always been done but we've never been in this situation before where we're last to see it and the world is full of spoilers. It's very different this time around.

It's not like we can't wench in here after all. We've been managing quite nicely so far. But if we can do it with the benefit of S3 pics, just for a while, not for ever, that would be bloody brilliant because then I won't have to abandon SM completely.

Sorry, I must have missed that convo. I did consider the spoilery aspect, but as its a close up of Athos, in make up we've already seen I didn't think it was giving anything away.
I'll resist the temptation from now on

Re: the pics, the advantage of saying 'no pics except official BBC/JP/crew pics', or whatever, is that it avoids having this same bloody conversation over and over again every time a pic from somewhere else is found. Definitions of what's spoilery or not will differ from one person to another, especially if some people are watching teh Turkish transmissions & others not.

There are pics?!? Spoilers be damned, I've been remiss in my attachment to the Musketeers.

FGS, I don't know what to suggest, this has me just stumped. Agree that part of the big thing in here in the past has been perving over pics as they've become available - trouble is in the past that's generally been as we've gone along, as each ep transmits. This is a whole different ballgame & I don't like it one bit. I've just been tagged in spoiler pics on Twitter which means I see them despite what my mute button has done. The sad truth is that pics are now out there right up to ep 10, probably. None of what I have so far seen has been particularly spoilery, close-ups aren't - but yes, who decides in each case?- the person who posts - & once it's been posted it can't be unseen.

I don't know what to do, in short.

I thought we had agreed only official Jess p/BBC pics were allowed in the tav?
Coz tbh I will be pissed off if someone posts a spoilery pic (as others have said, it might not seem spoilery to you, but it might to others) when I have waited so bloody long to see it!
I can avoid the tav til it airs I guess if people are determined to post pics.

at Poldark news, although I doubt the whole series is set 'in the autumn' given that the first series covered several years, so hope remains for shirtless action of some sort surely?

Is this ago of moment for resurrecting the Snug? I am avoiding everything but I as long as due consideration has been given to the nature of the photo so that if we want a fix, which I might but still not want it spoilt the Snug might be a good place to get a new pic without ruining it?

Fancy, I thought her comment was kind of odd. She made it sound like it had all been a nightmare: we didn't plan it, had no idea that the scythe picture would go viral and cause such a storm. So are we planning any more bare chest shots in the next series? Certainly not!!!

Actually, that could be an idea re The Snug. For any non-official pics to be perved over.
