Speculation is fine though when we've not seen an episode & aren't referring to something that we've seen. Because that's not spoilering it for anyone.

My post could have be written by someone who had seen nothing. I was talking about Aramis and how long he is in a monastery and why he isn't with the others. That can all be written by viewing series 2.

Obs it was the Porthos thing for me not the Aramis stuff. The Musketeers online FB group had a similar issue with people posting 'non spoiler' screen shots but others said it was spoilery so they set up a discussion in the group so people can do so. It's a 'thing' all over the fandom not just us.

I would prefer people who have decided to watch the series prior to the BBC airing to not post about it here, or speculate on plot

I don't personally want pics aside from what are officially posted as promo or by JP as presumably they won't spoiler stuff. Speculation I'm fine about as that's based on nothing but supposition & is fun. Referring to Porthos being affronted was from ep 1, not the last series.

I agree with Badz' point that having waited this long I don't want it ruined now.

Is it really asking too much to just not mention it at all or post any pics in here until S3 airs and those of us who have chosen to wait can be confident of not seeing anything? We can speculate our arses off once we're all watching it but can we please just leave it alone in the meantime? Please? If anyone is that desperate to speculate or post pictures because they absolutely can't wait until May when others are seeing it, then do it somewhere else. Please.

Agreed, no spoilers/spoilery pics please & any speculation only from episodes that we have all seen - those of us who have seen ep1 need to be really careful here. I'm happy to see official BBC pics, or those from JP's twitter as I trust them not to give anything away. So many websites are going to be off limits now, so let's keep this one safe to maximise the excitement and squeeing

Interestingly there was a comment in an FB group about the Aramis as monk pics posted there as being spoilers. That was before JP posted them. Now JP posted them they are no longer spoilers!

It'a minefield - especially with some of you who have seen ep 1 knowing what's happening (kudos to you for NOT saying anything since Feb!) and then it being shown in other places before UK. God knows when US will get it.

I guess common sense prevails.

What I can say with no doubt and with no spoiler issues - is the musketeers are sizzlingly HOT!!!

True liv - Dog is getting hotter with each series. And we do miss the Cardinal too (although for somewhat different reasons ), he was a totally fab villain, so much better than Rochefort.

Aramonk is hardly a spoiler though is it? He ended s2 headed off to a monastery. That would be like saying showing Trev as Minister for War, or Dog being married to Constance in ep1 is a spoiler FFS. The trailers are only going to show him as a monk or a civilian to fuel the 'will he rejoin or not' specualation.

It's funny though isn't it - I know i am biased as I adore PCap and genuinely think he's an incredible actor, but seeing Rochefort's performance kind of underlines the huge difference in their abilities!
