Comtess and everyone else, you absolutely must watch Desperate Romantics. It's about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and it is made for wenches. Zoe Tapper (Porthos' Alice) and Tom Hollander (Corky from TNM) are in it and Maimie is in two episodes. In many ways it's similar to TM.

Strangely, Aiden Turner does nothing for me as Poldark, but I love him as Rossetti.

I got mine from Amazon too. I don't know about Netflix, but episodes 2-6 are on YouTube. Unfortunately I can't find episode one which is no help at all.

Just averted another catastrophe. TM leant a fucking book against one of our halogen heaters. Mr M didn't notice the fucking smoke coming off the thing till I yelled at him and pulled the book away. I swear he is off on his own planet.
