Swagger Inn Thread 126 :TREPIDATION. The wait for 'The Musketeers' S3 is killing us!

Dr Lemay will suggest a remedy for our angst. More boffing discussions? More re-watches?
We need something to soothe, as we wait for news of Series 3. Is the tonic more wine, cocktails and debauchery?
We're currently surviving on in The Night garden Manager, Jane Eyre and promises of Santi in Soccer Aid.

On we go wenches.......

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 18:53

Bbc fuckers AngrySad

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 18:56

I am upstairs
Dh is doing the dishes and singing morning has broken really loud

  1. I fucking HATE that hymn
  2. He can't sing
  3. I'm feeling very hormonal atm and quite violent
What should I do?
  1. Ignore?
  2. Compliment him on his singing?
  3. Kill him dead with fire?
Argh....now he's whistling!!!....Confused
Badders123 · 23/03/2016 18:58

....and when I say "doing the dishes" I mean the 3 baking trays and some cutlery left after I loaded the dishwasher and put it on
And after I tidied and wiped down the work tops
And after I put all the dishes in the sink to soak
Hmm
He has just bought me a hot water bottle though Smile
I may let him live

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/03/2016 19:00

I PM'd you Bads Smile

FancyFancy · 23/03/2016 19:18

headphones and some loud music badders, it's the only way. Whistling has the same effect on me, gives me the total rage

LetUsPrey · 23/03/2016 19:39

Evening wenches.

Mid-May? FTFO BBC. Perhaps it won't be a Sunday. Perhaps it'll be a Friday again. And get fucked about. Again.

Whistling = show no mercy.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/03/2016 19:47

I can't stand people that whistles, or chew gum with open mouth Angry

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 19:50

Whistling and humming make me feel utterly murderous Angry
Thank god I break up tomorrow.

Obs2016 · 23/03/2016 19:53

Sunday night slot is my fave, I think. Shame. A decision must be made soon though, surely?

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 19:57

Honestly?
It wouldn't surprise me if they out it on at 2pm on a weds afternoon!
Just such bizarre behaviour from the BBC. Although it's not just TM - Shetland got the same treatment this year.
I can only conclude that the BBC have given up on the series and it has been produced and will be shown with bbc worldwide in mind.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 23/03/2016 20:50

The two last episodes of S2 was shown at 1 o'clock at night on a Thursday in SwedenConfused

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 20:59

I fear that's the way we are headed here too wicked :(

AnneEtAramis · 23/03/2016 21:01

Wenches I have news. Did you know ITV made Poldark ?!?!? Mind boggling.

I am going to Soccer Aid regardless as taking DS1 so if Santi is there I will have to reign it in or swear him to secrecy, plus have to ask head teacher for the day off or lie call in sick.

Fancy glad you have regained your manners, I was a little worried.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 23/03/2016 21:14

Evening all. Today I have been mostly fighting off migraines and reformatting documents and swearing about colleagues who don't do what they say they will.

Wine for wenches dealing with useless DHs and homework hell

Badders - don't be silly, it won't be on BBC1 on Wednesdays at 2pm. It will be on BBC2, or BBC3.

Now I am going to switch off electronics and have some tea and wrap myself in cotton wool Athos.

Laters.......

FancyFancy · 23/03/2016 21:22

Blimey anne, that does surprise me re Poldark, mind you doesn't the BBC have to commission a certain percentage of programming from external production companies now? Better ITV gets their money than the evil Murdoch empire I suppose.

Badders123 · 23/03/2016 21:24

It'll be available as a download for about 4 minutes on iplayer sometime in October AngrySadHmm

FancyFancy · 23/03/2016 21:55

Have been having a bit of a chuckle reading this thread - Things my husband thinks I like that I don't

Comtess · 23/03/2016 22:41

Evening all

Just read that thread on your recommendation Fancy - very amusing in part Grin.

I'm afraid TM won't be Sundays. For whatever reason they've decided it's not top bill material. I'm also expecting a late time slot on a silly night. FYBBC.

Very late and not eaten and now can't be arsed to get anything. Only tomorrow to go!! Push on through wenches

Nos da!

Obs2016 · 24/03/2016 07:18

I agree Comtess. That Sunday night 9pm slot is huge. War and peace, ITNgardenManager, it is big. TM just doesn't cut it. So will be given a lesser time, lowly channel.
We all be meeting up at 2 am, Tuesday's on BBC3 or BBC4 or something as dire.

Morning.

Assuming it's not going to get the coveted Sunday 9pm slot, I actually don't mind what day of the week it gets. Friday was good in some ways but often involved social arrangements getting in the way. Midweek 9pm would be fine.

Are we having a sweepstake?

Me: Thursdays 9pm

LetUsPrey · 24/03/2016 07:57

Morning wenches.

That was the Death in Paradise slot wasn't it? And wasn't Happy Valley on Tuesdays? Pah just put it on at a decent time and don't piss around with it. And give it SOME BLOODY PUBLICITY!

Convinced it was Saturday when I woke up. It's only Thursday Sad

Have fabulous days wenches x

LetUsPrey · 24/03/2016 08:12

Tuesday at 9 is currently The A Word which has three episodes left.

Thursday is Line of Duty which has four episodes left.

This is all assuming BBC1 which, as wenches have said, given the way the BBC seem to feel about it, isn't guaranteed. I hope other countries don't get it before us. Didn't the States get the finale last series before us?

Also I forgot my manners before

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/03/2016 08:39

Agree with LetUs & Sparks As long as it's a regular slot at a sensible time it's fine. I just want to ddddddddooooooooooooooooooooo- see iiiiiiittttt...

It's Easter hols from tomorrow I need to find ways of entertaining DS - apart from spending the long weekend at in-laws.

Re. 'Things my husband thinks I like that I don't' Grin very amusing, but actually, DH seems to be pretty good (or I have amnesia) because I don't think he gets me anything I don't like. Maybe he doesn't get me anything, full stop. Hmm Grin No - unfair, he does. Though he does seem to think I enjoy tidying up after him in the kitchen Hmm I think that's the trade off for him doing the cooking though.

Right. Easter hols tomorrow means I need to faff on various social media for hours crack on with work.

ApricotCrush · 24/03/2016 08:57

Morning!

I agree we're not going to get Sundays. I'm going for Fridays at 9.00pm. That slot is currently occupied by Boomers, whatever that is, although I can guess. It finishes on 29th April, so we could start on 6th May.

I'm off to the crem this morning, as it's my Dad's anniversary. It's such a long time ago, I was only 17, but I still like to visit, particularly as my Mum is now with him.

Hope all wenches have a good day.
