It was my birthday yesterday and it was a mix of dire and wonderful. TM has the tantrum to end all tantrums and Mr Ms card got eaten by the very temperamental machine in the local shop. And thankfully, I didn't just get the ps4 game, I got a bbq in a bucket, a bottle of whisky and a lovely bunch of roses. And some money to go towards replacing my old tablet.

Possibly the best thing ever, I found a real life dog-alike. I went to renew my membership card to localstatelyhomeandteashop and he was there working as a waiter. I had actually given up hope of finding men in my tiny village who were under 30 and not farmers.

...The last thing I saw at the cinema was the Shaun the Sheep movie. Or Minions. Probably Minions thinking about it. And I liked them both, but I can't remember the last time I went to see somethign that wasn't a children's film. partly because we're too tight to pay cinema prices at ChateauHelen

MN have changed the font - there is a thread in Site Stuff with lots and lots of people saying it's giving them a headache and they can't read it.

Commiserations, Baddz, I first had labyrinthitis about 8 years ago, and get occasional bouts every now and again when my immune system is a bit squashed. It's horrible, even with the anti-nausea medication, and I only have had relatively mild doses. Hope yours is mild too, as it can leave you completely flat out. I find cutting out chocolate/sweets helps, which is depressing.

There is/was a Dog-a-like at my opticians. He fitted my glasses on one occasion. Fortunately my hair was freshly washed and I was wearing perfume. Quite by accident obviously.

Poor Badderz - my dad's had that and it was truly shit. He - shock - couldn't drink whilst on the meds for it. He made sure he took it super easy so he recovered as quickly as possible

for Badders re Labrynthitis, and LetUs re crap day at work. Mine was weird. I got given some stuff to do, and then everyone thanked me for doing it Like I was doing them a favour. Weird. Needless to say I failed to graciously accept any compliments and simply looked blank and pointed out that it was what I get paid for.
