Well since it's half term and my childminder has quit, dp and dss2 is doing the childcare tues-fri this week cos I have only 3 days of annual leave left.

I also unexpectedly got given eight weeks notice last week. Bloody maternity cover contracts. So am in a job quandary again.

Madame - same as last time. He was searching for 'inappropriate' things on the internet again. Windows 10 did an upgrade and screwed all the settings and redireced him to Bing from Google. FML This was Saturday morning - so I lost my lie-in as well.

Afternoon. Day off, in a very blah mood. But on the positive side I have finally got rid of my old TV which had been sitting in my flat for 18 months. Had tried to freecycle, charity shop and generally donate it all without success (probably because it was a CRT rather than flatscreen, and non-digital), so I finally got it taken away by the council 'bulky waste' collection. It irks me to send something functional to the tip, but I did my best.

Got some nagging emails to send, and a few phone calls to make, and then I plan to do fun things with CaptTrev and a bottle of prosecco for an hour or two.

I did write some fic Ariadne, but alas my magnum opus was never completed and I've never been brave enough to put anything on ao3. As to its temperature, I couldn't say, but due to my extensive knowledge of the 30 years war, it was entirely made up historically accurate. It was a very long time ago though, I think it's long buried in the archives.
