Hi Unimum!
Good luck with the casting. My DD (10mth) is with Bubblegum too. Just had her shoot for the model book last weekend so really hoping for some castings soon. Are your LO's on the website?
Mine is Lola, in the babies section.
L x

unimum · 26/11/2006 20:02

No I decided against the model book as I was worried I would spend money and never hear from them again (read too much about Models Direct lol)!

I have covered his face in sudocrem - fingers crossed they can see past the blemish ;p

julie4travel · 26/11/2006 20:38

evening all, welcome unimum. my friends three kids are with bubblegum and has been with them for 5 years. good luck with tommorows casting.

2manypimms- well i never heard anything fri about td so hopefully we may get a call tommorow? i did put on napm to see if anyone else on their went to the casting yet noone replied so i guess the numbers at the casting were smaller than some of the others i have been too

littlemadam - glad ds did well even after a hectic day. glad you mad it a nice trip with other visits etc in London

i haven't been on here much as me and ds have had a sickness bug and been in bed. boy am i glad his student film is next weekend as there is noway we could have done it this weekend. am a little worried how my dd will be in the film with her pretend mum as it will be her first time in something like this. i hope she performs well and doesn't decide she doesnt want to do it! she has been changed in the pre school play from a star to mary as the other little girl didn't want to do it so she put her hand up to do it. she has been shouting her one line at home pratising - just hope she has the same confidence infront of the mums and dads on the day

ellesmum - good luck for mackays

cant remember who else i have missed out yet good luck this week for jobs and castings.

raga text me she has arrived in the caribbean lucky devil! very envious

ps its my birthday tommorow and my hubbie had to cancel the birthday plans for us last night as me and ds were in bed ill! think we will prob go for a meal or something tommorow instead

Happy Birthday, Julie! Have a great day! Let's hope the phone rings today. Hope you are feeling better.

Uni - Welcome! Good luck with the Bank of Austria casting!

Mythumbs - Hope you are feeling better as well.

Mrsratty - I'm going out when DS is feeling better and picking up this month's issue of Junior - will look for your dd.

Thorntons - My neighbour has the Tesco's catalogue so I'll have a peep for your DD.

LM - Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for Monsoon! Enjoy Disney!!!!

DS is so ill that he is willingly staying in bed and sleeping. I have a hospital appointment for DD but I'll have to ring and cancel it.

Sorry if I've missed anyone!

princessmel · 27/11/2006 08:53

Happy Birthday Julie

mrsratty · 27/11/2006 08:55

Morning all, there must be a really contagious bug going around as big DD was throwing up yesterday for the first time in years. She doesn't do staying in bed when sick even when she had the measles and chicken pox!

I'm not sure if Junior is out this week or next as the last copy says thursday december 1st which doesn't exist!

Good luck for all jobs/castings this week.

happy birthday Julie, have a great day x

wish all your LOs better, I think that sickness bug is flying round here, my neighbours son has had it for 3 days and its her turn to do the school run this week so hope DD dont catch it

mrsratty · 27/11/2006 09:22

Sounds like something DD would be suitable for, shame I don't have a starnow account. Was there an email address?

OP posts:
Tinkerbel5 · 27/11/2006 09:24

that looks good ellesmum, what happens if the child has an agent are they allowed to do it and get paid for it do you know ? sounds good

mrsratty · 27/11/2006 09:27

The pays better than normal editial work, it's usually £40 for a couple of hours!

OP posts:
Tinkerbel5 · 27/11/2006 09:29

yes the pay was a bit tempting

ellesmum · 27/11/2006 09:32

tink/mrsratty - im not sure if u can do the job if u are already with an agent, and there wasnt an email address either, think u have to be a member.
