I'm new to MN - looks like a lovely fun place to be though.

You all seem like a smashing bunch of guys.

Are there any women here though? Seems quite "male-dominated"?

Hmmmm. Seen you following me around....

Wonder if LGJ has sniffed you out yet.....?

Welcome, btw, if you really are a newbie

MarsLady · 15/11/2006 23:47

Male-dominated!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Welcome. I'm sure you'll meet LGJ soon.

geordiemam · 15/11/2006 23:48

Im new here too, hi!

SherlockLGJ · 15/11/2006 23:53

Announces to nobody in particular, that she most categorically does not sniff, it is common.

Like salad cream and four wheel drives......

MarsLady · 15/11/2006 23:56

Hi Geordiemam! Welcome to the site It's rather addictive though.

Sneakymouse... I shall watch this thread with interest!

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:00

Thank you for the welcome, chaps!

It does seem rather addictive!

I shall probably visit at least twice a month!

OP posts:
SherlockLGJ · 16/11/2006 00:02

Welllllllllllllll

You may start off with the best of intentions.. but before you know it, it will be, twice a fortnight, then twice a week, then twice a day, and then there you are hooked.

MarsLady · 16/11/2006 00:02

Why only twice a month? Do you have restricted access?

GreenLumpyTonsilsAgain · 16/11/2006 00:03

I reckon this is Rhubarb

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:05

I don't see why I'd need to come here any more than twice a month? Quick chat, ask a few questions, then go off and get on with my life? Isn't that how it works?

Couple of pointers that will make your sojourn here easier.

Shop at Boden

Do not under any circumstances give your children grapes in the supermarket.

Do not dress your child in Burberry.

Do not pierce their ears before they can speak.

Do not feed them sausage rolls and fruit shoots in the buggy, take them to Zizzis FGS.

I am off to bed now, if I think of anymore I will post in the morning.

Shop at Boden - isn't that just droopy skirts and twatty pink coats?

Do not under any circumstances give your children grapes in the supermarket - why would I give them grapes when they can have Frubes?

Do not dress your child in Burberry - not even the babygro and baseball cap set I have?

Do not pierce their ears before they can speak - too late.

Do not feed them sausage rolls and fruit shoots in the buggy - I wouldn't do that - they like Frubes and Peperami too much.

Should have a Mumsnet rules section!
Also don't drive a 4x4
or park in the parent & child spaces without a child

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/11/2006 00:12

I bet you weaned at 6 weeks too

Coke in a bottle?

GreenLumpyTonsilsAgain · 16/11/2006 00:12

S'Rhuby, I tell yer

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:13

6 weeks? Why would anyone wait that long?

Who is Ruby? Like curry?

OP posts:
SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:14

I always park in P&C spaces. I have children. Sometimes they're not with me, granted, but I do have them, so it's my right to use those spaces.

GreenLumpyTonsilsAgain · 16/11/2006 00:16

nikkie · 16/11/2006 00:17

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:18

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 16/11/2006 00:30

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:32

I wasn't really hiding as such.

I've posted "tis Hunker btw" with this name on today

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 16/11/2006 00:52

SneakyMouse · 16/11/2006 00:55

It's not, is it, Aitch.

DS1 has a hedgehog he calls Sneaky Mouse, so I thought I'd use it to post with for a bit
