Chemo. Another one bites the dust. Blood results were their usual excellent. Blood pressure was 97/64 which is fairly average for me. Weight is improving; I'm up to 57.8kg. My goal is the 59kg I was when I was admitted to hospital in April. Even my SATS (oxygen saturation) were 97 which is amazing.

MaccyD was up to usual standards. Piriton fairies were in high spirits. I may feel a nap coming on.

Woo-hoo great test results!

I came home from work in the middle of the day today because I had such a dodgy tummy. Haven't eaten anything since breakfast and it seems like an awful long time ago! I must be feeling better because I'm starting to feel hungry especially at your Maccy Dees description. My favourite thing there is sausage McMuffin with egg and I love love love the hashbrowns. What is your fave?

I'm also partial to a McChicken but when it comes to fast food burgers nothing beats a Whopper!

Good news Zombie. MaccyD can't hurt the weight gain!

Hearts, I always have a Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin meal. I also agree with you about the Whopper. Unless there's a Five Guys nearby. If I'm in the mood for chicken, it has to be KFC orignal recipe.

Speaking of Five Guys. Oh, look! There's one at Birmingham New Street. I wonder who will be in Brum on Thursday? Yep. ME!!! As I can't eat before the MRI, MaccyD will have step aside and I get a fantastic hamburger for brunch.

Ooooooh Five Guys. Mr Hearts LOVES Five Guys. Actually we all do. They are awesome. Much better than most of these designer burgers like Byron and the like.

I prefer the single burgers because i find the double patty messes with the optimum bun-to-burger ratio.

Zombie I'm a big fan of GBK. I love their panko crumbed chicken breast with Brie & cranberry with rosemary fries. Not exactly diet food but, oh my!

B3 - GBK (Gourmet Burger Kitchen) has branches all over. Even in That There London. I really want a panko chicken, Brie & cranberry burger now.

Somehow I don't think wafer thin chicken slices, Dairylea & raspberry jam will be the same........

I had a GBK burger the other week that had gorgonzola and some other stuff on it. Twas epic.

I think we had better extend the November meet up to include MaccyD's for breakfast and burgers for lunch so let's meet for breakfast or burgers the morning after the night before

Haha lin, you may all think I'm tiddled all the time but I am observing very, very closely.

I also dislike burgers, intensely ! Food of the devil.

Evening all.

Today I met with the cardiologist and I really liked her. She reviewed my history and studied my two most recent echocardiograms. She's very pleased with my current cardio status. She's not at all concerned with my ectopic beats. She has stopped my digoxin as I was put on that to control atrial fibrillation which is no longer an issue for me. Instead she has prescribed Bisoprolol which is a beta blocker and more appropriate for my current condition. Other doctors had been reluctant to prescribe a beta blocker as my blood pressure tends to be on the low side. She thinks my BP is stable enough to try the beta blocker. Most importantly she says there is NO cardiological reason why I shouldn't have the liver op.

MRI tomorrow. The appointment isn't until 12:15 so not too early a start.

Is it too early for bed? I'm totally cream crackered.

Haha ikl. That is fun to read but I relate to that entirely , one of our local pubs has bloody framed paintings on hooks ,flat against the ceiling, who the F wants to look at those ? The wallpaper is different on every wall and different stupid things all around ! It's horrible , food is ok though.

I'm with you about the burgers B3 and I've not heard of those places either! Mind I think there is a Golden Egg near here that they have forgotten to close down!!
