I'm back home now, exciting work has been done on our house - the demolition stage!

Glad you had a good time Zombie, it sounds like you had a really enjoyable time. Shame you tripped but luckily nothing too serious. Hope any bruises etc are beginning to fade now. What is happening for your next apts ?

I have also been in France seeing PFGD (& DS & DDIL). Had a wonderful time - she is just adorable & cuddly & totally amazing! (Not that I am biased!)

Good morning all!

I've had a quiet week. Except for Thursday / Friday. I went down to the Big Smoke on Thursday afternoon (I love my Senior Railcard) to see this. I had a fabulous time. It was recorded and will be broadcast on BBC1 on Thursday, 12 November.

This week is going to be a bit manic. Tomorrow I have my pre chemo bloodwork; Tuesday I have chemo; Wednesday I see a cardiologist; Thursday I'll be at the QE Hospital in Brum for another MRI; Friday I will collapse.

Next week I go back to the QE on Thursday for the Liver Clinic and on Friday I see my oncologist.

After all of that I hope to know whether the op is on or not and what I can expect my treatment plan to be in the short to medium term.

Busy week Zombie! I am exhausted just reading about it! Make sure you pace yourself. Glad you had a nice time in Kos.

Bloody hell Zombie, how on earth do you find time to rest ? No wonder you sometimes feel exhausted. You are an absolute star to get through all of this, and still find time to have your fav breakfast ! I hope all your apts and scans etc turn out to be favourable for you.

Evening!

Today went well. (Except for the discussion with the gardener about what I want him to do.) On my way to the hospital I called in at the new M&S Foodhall and Cafe. Had a terrific lunch - a salad of Hot Smoked Lochmuir Salmon, baby spinach leaves, warm new potatoes, cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Absolutely delicious. After the hospital I called into Sainsburys to get some light bulbs. I emerged with £80 of clothes. No light bulbs.

MaccyD is back in business so guess what I'm having for breakfast on my way to chemo tomorrow?

How many guesses do we get Zombie ? hope all goes to plan tomorrow. Sounds like you have had a good shopping day. I also need some lightbulbs , you have just reminded me.
