Appointment number 3 for the week completed. It was just a quick visit to the vampire at my GP's surgery and to collect some meds while I was there. Then I paid a flying visit to Harry Tuffins for a paper and some baccy. I then visited the splendid emporium known as J's Mart. It's one of those quirky shops where you can find just about anything, especially things you didn't know you couldn't live without until you saw them.

The rest of the day has been doing laundry and pottering around the house.

I'm going to have a long soaky bath and hair wash. Then some dinner. Then very early to bed as I need to leave the house around 06:45 in the morning to get to Birmingham for my Liver Unit appointment (timetable includes a small detour to a convenient MaccyD). It looks like at least part of journey will be during some torrential thunderstorms.

Hope you managed to get up early Zombie ! I usually find of o have to get up that's the very day I oversleep ! My fingers are crossed that you come away from the hospital with the best news you can get. Only 2 more nights to sleep at home, then off for your hotel stay and then !!!!!!! these were new this time precisely because original design wasn't accepted so we went in the loft and reduced first floor space.
DH just heard back, we can re-draw these and send adjusted plan in as "pre-planning advice" request. that way the woman who is handling this can make the changes herself and hopefully she can turn it around in 2 weeks. so we might just be able to get a yes early Sept.

Well I will keep my fingers crossed for you, ds had planning turned down on one of the houses he bought , but on the one they have now all was ok first go. That is coming on well, but ds and gs still living here at the moment.

Appointment number 4 for the week completed.

My heart and lung problems now make me a high risk candidate for any major surgery but we're going to see if we keep going. I will have MRI and CT scans at the QE Hospital during the week commencing 14/09/15. I will then have another appointment with the Liver Clinic in early October to review the results of those scans. If all looks well there then I will be assessed by an anaesthetist on my fitness to undergo a general anaesthetic. If I jump that hurdle successfully, we will proceed to scheduling the surgery. Realistically surgery won't be until sometime in late October or November.

A couple of wrong turns on the way to Telford Station meant that I had to give MaccyD a miss. I made up for this by having a KFC for lunch.

Had a long phone chat with ZombieLad last night. We were going to Skype but I had huge problems trying to log in. I followed the re-set password instructions but was then taken to a page where I was told the re-set had been successful but couldn't access any other features. When I tried to log in directly it still claimed the username or password was incorrect... I'll try to sort that out later.

Now, however, it's NAP TIME!!

for some reason I can't log on to MN desktop site, from phone or tablet. my password to log in isn't working - I don't remember changing it, but if i did no idea what it is.

Well , the news isn't bad Zombie, they haven't discounted the op altogether, which has to be hopeful. You deserve it !
Shame about Skype, I think everything is going to pot on the net lately. When Zlad gets here, your heart will get a real boost so maybe that will help to make it a bit better.
