I have one on loan while my (beloved) Multipla is in the shop (head on collision with idiotic youth ). Two seats in front, ok, three seats in the back - er yes as long as the middle child is about 10cm wide - no way of fitting three car seats in back. Two folding seats in the boot - crappy, uncomfortable and pants for adults or anyone for a long distance.

God I miss my Multipla.

Black is the only colour for the GV imo. Oooh, I love mine! I could live in it!

PrincessPeaHead · 09/11/2006 19:53

aren't chrysler grand voyagers basically tin cans in a crash? thought they had awful crash results.
hired one for 2 weeks in the US. once you got over the excitement of the electric sliding doors it drove like a drunk weeble being pulled through mud. had to slow down to 1 mile an hour to turn a corner because it was so wallowy. no thanks!

The pre 2001 models were crap in crash tests. After that they are fine.

I like the drive, it's lovely - very smooth and I think it handles nicely. The only downside for me is that the turning circle is crap.

Gobbledispook · 09/11/2006 19:56

I certainly don't take corners at 1mph (as dh keeps pointing out )

Gobbledispook · 09/11/2006 20:04

How comfy are the seats?! They are like armchairs!

Sorry, I'm obsessed with my car I love it so much!

Will shut up now!

StrawberryMoon · 09/11/2006 20:06

ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..and the electric chairs didnt even groan at my hefdtyness when it moved me up/down and forwards!!!!

nikkie · 10/11/2006 19:57

My Mam has a Zafira and until I got my car if we all went out dd1 and I would go in the boot, dd2 my dad and grandad would be in the middle and my Nnna and myu Mam in the front (with a wheelchair i n thew boot.Couldn't have done it for going far but was fine for 30ish miles
if we didn't have the back seats up me or my Dadcould sit in the middle of 2 car seats.(No Grandparents!)
She has 1.6 btw and it wasn't that bad for petrol/insurance especially when compared to a big MPV.We chose it because of the seats folding flat rather than having to take the out and it was only going to be occaisional use anyway.
