i have the twin house of fabric and yarn and chaos!
nice to know I'm not alone.

It's keeping me sane. DH has ideas of delicately crocheted lace adornments to house. Product so far likely to be rejected by a homeless dog. Ah well. I like it .

Evening (morning!) my lovely ones.

Zombie is alive and shuffling along. ZombieLad is also fine. He is such an amazing man. I am very, very proud of him.

I keep promising myself that I will start knitting / crocheting. It hasn't happened yet.

This week's appointments went well. MRI on Monday and appointment with my wonderful surgeon on Friday next week. Oncologist appointment is on the 27th.

Otherwise life goes on.

'Ello Zombie! Very glad to hear you are doing okay. Happy ZombieLad is well & the appointments have been good. Cold snap is back so keep wrapped up & warm. I have a day of rugby & crochet squares to keep me entertained. I'm teaching Mr Ikl the pesky rules of the Art of The Odd Shaped Ball as we go along. DS plays U9s so it'll be handy for Mr to understand what's going on when we get to bigger boys' games.

I too now have some lurgy or other and at this present time am still in bed ! Zombie glad you are getting on ok and hope your medication is hoping to lift your spirits, I'm sure that the strong courageous Zombie we have all grown to care for is lurking about somewhere and will soon be back

i always that in the light of what you are going through it's unfair for me to whine about colds and stuff but I'm fucking fed up of it!
DS1 & DS4 has tonsillitis, DS3 has a badly infected toe, the other 4 has streaming colds and coughs....I'm one step away from putting a big H on the front door.
(I should do. and charge for parking outside our house )

glad you're ok and hope the treatment is working. I think of you a lot.

Hope those with the lurgy are starting to feel better. I can send virtual hot toddies if that would help.

I think the increased dose of Sertraline is helping a lot. I take my last Zopiclone tonight. It's certainly greatly improved the quality of my sleep. Now I just need to reset my body clock so I'm in bed before 3 or 4...

As a self-certified insomniac I'm afraid I have no useful advice on how to sleep better/longer/earlier.
I'm watching Great British Sewing Bee on catch up tv.

Glad that this week's appointments went well, Zombie.

Hope there lurgies take a running jump down the revine and take the last of my cough with them.

DD has been trying different things to help with sleep.and has hit on having a sleep late afternoon/evening, then getting up fir a few hours in the night for dinner and some work without distractions, then sleeping again until about 6:30. Seems to be working well for her.

I hope all the lurgy sufferers are starting to improve by now, get yourselves on medicinal hot whiskey four hourly and that should see you right.

Hope your sleep improves soon Zombie. I've been in the 'reading a kindle at 3am' zone myself sometimes. Fingers crossed you can reset your clock so you can get fully rested & refreshed.

Lurgy update is possible Menieres. ENT referral & new meds. Another fortnight off work. DS's blanket will be finished in no time now!

They are both a bit sceptical about MN and I have been drunkenly describing some of the threads that I read and post on.
