What makes you think less of someone in a totally totally irrational way?

Having just watched the end of the Channel 4 best albums of all time, dh and I were discussing how upsetting we find it if someone we love admits to liking U2 and how it devalues them in our eyes TOTALLY irrational I know

That's NOT fair, Eidsvold. We had to give our U2 tickets back after they cancelled Sydney as we can't just pop down the road there any more [stamps my foot].

people who support big football teams -just becuase they are big. they dont come from that town or city and dont support their own home team

ie. anyone supporting manchester united.

if your a mancunian - it shouldbe city first and foremost - that deservs respect. only people from salford should support man u. the rest are just clingons.

same for chelsea.

my son said to me when he was about 14/15 just when chelsea were becoming the next big thing " mum i decided i am supporting chelea"

well becuase my knowledge of footie is nil.

Why? Why do I care? It's hardly child abuse, is it, trying to keep a set of clothes clean for the day! But I hate it, I don't care how much washing i have to do, I love to see filthy children.

I adore U2, He has an exceptional singing voice and the music is great.

However, there are some singers I cannot stand that other people do like.. Its a matter of taste and opinion. Has nothing to do with what sort of people you are.
