LOL - DH has never been anywhere near my mooncup. I suspect it will stay that way.

tribpot · 13/10/2006 21:47

Surely good thing that it can be put to fairly harmless use on the days when you don't need it?!

BATtymumma · 13/10/2006 21:49

Franny - you have just brought back some fantastic memories. my grandad used to say "my giddy aunt" all the time, i have never heard it used by anyone else before.

NannyStar · 13/10/2006 21:49

ha ha haaaaa, this is one of the thread titles that make you snort out so much that you could do with a whole box of tissues!

lucykate · 13/10/2006 21:49

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 21:49

Oh ffs I was so distracted, that I have started a thread with the word SPIDER in the title as well, which will haunt me all week now

Oh god I am actually quite pissed off in a comedy way, had just boiled it yesterday as well so I will have to do it again now

Maybe wait until nearer the time it's next needed in case dh wants to use it to water the plants or something ...

HorrorMatopoeia · 13/10/2006 21:52

Snort! Just had to explain to my Dh:
a) why i'm dripping in spurted out red wine
and
b) what a mooncup is!

Fantastic!

Tatties · 13/10/2006 21:53

I wish my dp would take the spiders out in anything! But anyway at the choice of recepticle!

Katymac · 13/10/2006 21:53

Hope it didn't lay any eggs

harpsichordcarrion · 13/10/2006 21:54

well if you had posted that your dp had just taken out a loofah in your mooncup, that might have caused some comment

MamaGhoul · 13/10/2006 21:54

Good job he told you otherwise next time you put your mooncup in, spidey would have had a new home

Bozza · 13/10/2006 21:55

So where was the spider and where was your mooncup? Was it actually the most handy receptacle or did he actually select it for the purpose?

BloodyTenaLady · 13/10/2006 21:56

Im definately getting one then I knew it must be useful for somat.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 13/10/2006 21:56

LOL! I used that phrase the other day on here for the first time....

Then figured people would think i was 93

am wondering just how big the spider was though that required ejecting from the premises.....

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 21:57

Oh Tatties he is marvellous as Chief Spider Remover

but he usually uses like an old yogurt pot and a bit of card

I don't think he would have even told me he had done it if I hadn't asked how big the spider was, then he said "Oh not that big, it fitted fine in your Mooncup"

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 21:59

Bozza it was in the bathroom and yes I had left the Mooncup on the bathroom windowsill, so it was handy

OMG maybe he has been doing it for weeks and not telling me

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 21:59

ROFL! I read the bit you posted about the "yoghurt pot and bit of card" and thought "yikes, Franny's mooncup isnt the size of a yoghurt pot is it "

Tatties · 13/10/2006 22:05

Franny do you think he might be winding you up?

BloodyTenaLady · 13/10/2006 22:07

Does he know what it is?
