We are getting to the 1000 limit so I thought I would start a new happy thread!

back from mothercare shoot, he was put into reins, harness type of straps, they took loads of photos hope they get used, it took around 40 mins and we were out.

Well, have just ironed selection of tops for B&B - we're tomorrow at 11.20 if anyone else likely to be there then?

Don't know why I always get so worked up about the perfect top - I know that they only show head and shoulder so the top is pretty insignificant as long as it's not awful colour or mad pattern. Won't stop me trekking up with 4 or 5 tops in my bag though!

Anyone know of a reputable agency in Manchester? Is it all based in London?

Puffling, there are a few in Manchester. Boss and Tuesdays Child are based there. If you look at www.childmodelling.net they give all the addresses etc and rate them. Hope that helps.

has anoone else been called for the casting my ds went to yesterday, for 6 year old boys near oxford circus? they are still casting tommorow b and b told me earlier

hiya! DD was a real pro this morning bless her!!! She was smileing and cooing while they took her pic in a bouncey thing! The pics look very cute but keeping fingers crossed they end up useing her!!!!

We are going to the Rightmove casting tomorrow with DS. Pity it wasn't on Tuesday......then we could have met up julie4travel Also have another TV Ad casting on Friday for both DS and DD.

i dont think i did see yackerty, saw a baby girl from KL and a boy around 1 year with lovely blonde hair, and baby twins with both parents, each child had one product, which is funny seeing they could use each c hild for a couple of products at least.

julie, congratulations for commercial and what was the casting for? good luck to everyone else.

Sha11... we were well gone by the time you got there, we finished at lunchtime! Did they use a couple of children for each product when you were there??

sha11/yackerty, glad your little ones did well at the mothercare shoot, sounds like they had nicer things to model than poor old lani it seemed to me they were only using 1 child per item, lets hope so, more chance of all our kids being in the catalogue!
yackerty, bump is coming along fine, 15 weeks now, now im past that 12 week mark it seems to be moving a bit faster, roll on april!

i thought some others from here may also be going. hopefully it will be their last day casting as its a licence jobbie so will have to be a quick turn around i suppose.

just waiting for my dd to be collected before we go for the model book photos. she is asking why isn't she coming for photos today. i told her it was her turn on sun and its ds turn today!

did anyone apply for that star now 5-6 year old casting? that is casting today or tommorow. was a great one i thought its a shame my kids ages weren't the other way round

I was wondering if anybody had tried to enter the simple baby of the year competition on-line. I tried but got an automatic response saying that the entry was not delivered.

Anyone else had this?

lanismum - my ds and your dd started around the same time last year nd they both had the mothercare shoot as their first paid job!!! ds has done 2 other unpaid ones, and you've had a couple of castings, hope they continue to get jobs now

Sounds like everyones been having a busy time with Mothercare! Well done.

DD's model book shoot went well, she couldn't stop smiling and we got some really happy natural photos. I am going to have a proper look in a momonet.

Well DS did really well today the casting director made a point to come out and find me and tell me how well he did???? They don't usually do that! So here's hoping!!!!! Now we try again tomorrow for another one with both of them. Then we are off to the Natural History Museum to make use of a holiday casting with time in London. Kids are really looking forward to it.
