This was advertised on Star Now so you would need to be a member to apply, but might interest someone?

London Film School Short Film
Listing no. 26143 - London M25 area, UK
Casting: 1 Baby model/actor, 1 Male actor 40-55yrs, 1 male actor 30-40yrs

Hello my name is Nicolas Ureta, I'm a second term student from The London Film School. I'm currently working on the script for this term's short film.

I need a Baby Model/Actor for 1 shot of the Film. Will take around 20 to 30 minutes.

Also need 1 male(40-55) actor for 1 shot, and another male(30-40) actor for another shot.

This short film is a co-production between The London Film School and The National Gallery, in wich the film is conected to one of the gallery's collection paintings.

This means that the film will appear at the National Gallery's website, attached to the painting chosen, and will also be screened at the National Gallery's cinema, this year.

This is a great project that assures the film to be screened at a important place such as this museum. The only thing is that this being a student film,on student budget, there is no pay involved unlees the film makes profit, this being quite unlikely. We do pay for travel expenses and food, plus a copy of the film and invitations to the screenings.

It's going to be a 3 to 3 1/2 minutes, colour 16mm film with post sync sound, shot in one day, almost sure to be the 31st of October.

Please apply now for auditions or more information.

Thank you very much,

Best Regards,

Nicolas Ureta Stagnaro.

Location: London Film School Covent Gard

Created: 18 Oct 2006
Applications accepted until: 25 Oct 2006
Application criteria: Males aged 0 to 55 from UK

strawberrymilkshake · 19/10/2006 09:37

Cs management and bizzykids, they both rang for the same casting.

Lolly68 · 19/10/2006 09:44

Its really wierd how it works cos I had 3 castings in one week once and then have had nothing since.

Ragga - Picked up the WH Smith catalogue today - WOW! Your DD looks great! I didn't realise she was so grown-up! She must be chuffed!

Yummy - Your DD is so sweet - looks like a complete angel!

Got the call from B&B just now - DS is booked into the Junior shoot tomorrow in Greenwich. Someplace called The Junk Shop. Should be fun!

Anyone have big plans for the half-term?

Ragamuffin · 19/10/2006 11:56

2manypimms........so glad you got THE call!!!! Good Luck for tomorrow. Hope it's loads of fun. Thanx for lovely comments on DD! She does seem to have suddenly gone from girlie to that pre-pubescent stage in last few months and last 2 jobs pics have made me feel a bit like that too. My baby girl is growing up!!

julie4travel · 19/10/2006 11:58

2manypimms - congrats hope the shoot goes well

intreging name for a place!

julie4travel · 19/10/2006 12:07

clarebearbaby · 19/10/2006 12:52

Just realised that a new thread has been started as I posted the same message on the previous thread.

I am looking for some advice. I recently sent off some pics of my son to bizzykidz and got accepted. I thought I would try some with no start up fees so I then applied to B&B but was rejected.

I am now not sure whether to apply to any others, go with bizzykidz or just accept that my son is not modelling material.

Any advice would be great

julie4travel · 19/10/2006 12:59

welcome clarebearbaby- apply to a few agencies and see how you get on. just because one said no dont stop. I initially got a no from b and b then a few months later a yes. try some agencies like mot, ua, kl, sw ts to name a few. Have a look at this site for profiles on agencies www.childmodelling.net. dont go with the first ones that say yes, you have to find one which is right for your child. some of the agencies do have higher start up fees than others. some agencies say no because of distance. Good luck most of the agencies you can email applications to. make sure they are good snap shots. kl you have to do a postal application yet they are normally quick with a response

ellesmum · 19/10/2006 13:26

hi everyone, the junior shhot went fantastic, elle was very good, she wore a striped ralphlaren top and ted baker skirt, she looked sooo cute! they were doing a sporty shoot, she had to play with some balls and jump on a trampoline. she had great fun and was very well behaved, think they got some great shots of her and were impressed with how good she was for her age, so really pleased! her pictures are for jan issue of junior, it was for their fashion pages.

mrsratty - was lovely to meet you and your dd looked lovely in her little outfit!

julie - i got elles bright pink top from mothercare, it also came with another top exactly the same but dark pink, think it was only £6.00.

also elle has a casting for Mackays cat on tuesday, is anyone else going? its in paddington.

julie4travel · 19/10/2006 13:29

superb ellesmum- glad the shoot went well and another casting too! she is doing so well bless her. will pop in mothercare on fri- if i remember rightly it didn't have a logo on it did it?
