Newbie here again can you advise please what happens at an assessment - DD has been called to two agencies next week - any advice would be appreciated Ta!!

thanks lolly!! i am very excited, just hope shes well behaved and dosent pretend to fall asleep in front of the camera like she did at the littlewoods shoot, she thinks its soo funny! lol

ellesmum - That's so funny we will be there at 12 what about you?

ellesmum - The clothes and hair will probably be really cool, they sometimes do fab hair and make up too!

Lolalou, we didn't have an assesment, but I think that its just a chat and couple of pics. Who are they with, lots of people on here will be able to help I'm sure!

assessment is to see if DD is to be accepted by agency
Rascals and childsplay are 2 agencies concerned

ellesmum - do you know whether it's for fashion or editorial? Do you know who the photographer is? I really should ask when they give me the job details!

Lolalou, I know Julie on here had two assessments, so she should be able to help, I'm sure she'll be on later, sorry I can't be of more assistance. Sure you'll be fine tho!!

Dont Junior usually do a "fashion" shoot like they do in Elle etc? They usually have about 3-4 children in one photo with different outfits on?

Lolalou - all an assessment is is to meet you and your LO - discuss the modelling world and if its right for you etc - usually if you get called for an assessment the chances are the agency will take your LO on.

haha housework all done yesterday am doing it allover again today, am still waiting for my brownie!! madeline still off school and just to add to it all i discovered nits this afternoon arrgghh guess what we've been doing, little buggers!

cheers lolly - will i have to tell them I have another assessment and will this hamper my chances with one if I do? Any thoughts?

Mrsratty what are you doing about DD's school, have you book a days holiday ?

wouldn't tell them about eachother at this stage, don't see any reason why you should, do you have an inkling of which one you would prefer?

mrsratty - not sure what its for, or who the photographer is i also didnt think of asking! but kids did tell me to ask when the pictures would be out in the mag so dont think they know much either.
