Zombie continues her cancer journey after chemo

The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

Oh huge EEEEEEEEEEEEKK back to you Zombie. I am so glad this trip has come off! I hope you have the best time ever.

Whew! Everything is going to plan. Not necessarily to time, but definitely to plan.

The journey has begun. I'm now settled in for the night. It's about another hour to the airport so I plan to get back on the road around 7am. I've already checked in on-line and printed my ticket and boarding card. So when I get to the airport I just have to check the bags and then I can relax!

I am SO EXCITED. I'm also absolutely knackered so I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight.

I'll check in with you all in a couple of days.

Boarding pass, passport, jabs, visas, Sterling and dollars- check. Phone charged - check. All liquids going in hand luggage in 100ml (or less) bottles in a zip lock bag - check. Accommodation address /destination written on paper - check.

Stowed keys, Sterling and dollars for return journey - check.

False bottom to suitcase sealed with sonic screwdriver and psychic paper - check.

This is such a very special day for Zombie isn't it. I can't imagine the emotion of it all. I'm sure we will all be thinking of the moment she meets up with her son. Not sure what time her flight was or what the time difference is. Will look it up on the world clock !

Not really sure where I'm looking for but Washington is 5 hrs behind us if that's anything to go by ! I'm useless at knowing where places are ! Flight looks to be about 8 hrs so if her flight was at ten she would just about be arriving I would think.

Her flight left Heathrow at 11.25am - she is due to land at Washington Dulles at 3pm local time.

Must be such a mixture of emotions for her. Excitement. Apprehension etc . I hope she hasn't worn herself out but maybe she slept on the plane for a bit. I would love to see her face when she meets up with her son, I would probably cry !

Think it is five hours BBB . It was 3pm there and 8pm here. Well I would think by now Zombie and Zombieson have met up, I do hope so, how exciting is this for her. She must be buzzing. I wonder if she mentions this thread she will refer to it as her damnbuggerfuck team

It's 5 hours time difference lin, so if you fly to NY you pretty much land at the same time you took off. I've only done it once and it was sunset all the way

But Zombie took off at 11.30am ish so you have to add the difference between that and 3pm which makes 8 hours roughly.

Crossing the Dateline is one that will really boggle your mind!

I hope she'll manage to sleep.
