Zombie continues her cancer journey after chemo

The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

Chickens - Magi offered to look after the Gin, I said that was like leaving the fox to look after the chickens, then before I know it ^^ they arrive!

Yes, Bee, the biopsy would be on the liver tumours.

mummy, I'm hoping the MRI will be before my trip. I told Dr. N. that I am NOT available for anything the last 2 weeks of this month. He wants to see me again the 2nd week of December. Given that we are then well into the holiday season I doubt the biopsy would be until the new year.

Val, my dearest, darling Val, you just keep those witchy woo vibes heading my way and do your Iti kick arse thing.

Well that all sounds like a good plan Zombie. So for now apart from scan you can concentrate upon your upcoming trip. You must be so excited now it's only two or three weeks away. Are you going to do some retail therapy before you go ? Sleep well

Hello Zombie' hope you are having a good day despite the cold today. Have you lit your fire ? This is the weather for beef stew and dumplings I think ! I wonder if there will be any snow when you go off on your trip.something I actually love, although I have been told many times I'm odd for liking it !
I meant to ask you if your hair is now growing back now your chemo has stopped.

I'm really glad to hear that all your medical appointments and treatments are to be put on hold until you return from your trip Zombie.

It's all been so intense and difficult, but you have this beacon ahead, in the shape of meeting your son, which will be at least as beneficial as any treatment.

It really is flinking cold all of a sudden isn't it?

BBB dumplings are my favourite, I will save one for you when I make some ! Along with crumpets with lots of butter of which I am going to have one later with my cuppa !
I personally think that one of us should be going with Zombie to keep her out of trouble, so therefore I nominate ME !!!

Those fluffy chickens can't be real surely? What make are they? They look like the Abba of the chicken world! Are they long feathered buff orpingtons, sort of glam rock chickens!

Dumplings and crumpets are proper winter food, I love an eggy crumpet and wonderful stew with dumplings sticks to your ribs, I sometimes make little ones to put in soup to brighten up a gloomy lunchtime.

How are you doing Zombie? Hope you are resting and not fretting about laundry etc. Any shopping plans for your trip?

Crumpets are good! Dumplings, the jury is out - if you mean the minging little things that are all soggy bleurgh, if you mean the ones that float on the top and go crunchy - they are good (though I think they're actually supposed to be called something else?!) As long as they and the stew/soup is vegetarian, I'm in!
