Sorry, but I've had a day at home today due to my DD being poorly off school and decided to have a little look round mumsnet as its been a while. What a load of twaddle most of it seems to be!
Don't get me wrong, there are some great threads and some really helpful advice on here, but so much of it is so bitchy!
Does anyone want to chat about something really positive? Do u think we can without someone taking offence? Am I just asking for it just asking???
Maybe I'm being provacative, but I just could not believe some of the stuff I was reading !

I think if I was the pineapple, had been chopped up and was aware that I was shortly going to be eaten I'd take an awful lot of appeasement. How much gammon do you have to sacrifice to keep the pineapple happy and does cooking it in cola make any difference?

Really nil? Hmmm, tempting. Every time I don't drink I mentally assign myself an "IOU a glass of Moët" that I imagine my DH will buy me when my boobs are babe free. I have a vivid imagination. (This isn't my most creative thought btw...)

Yes I do certainly feel that very interesting subjects have been discussed here, this is obviously exactly what I was looking for, so thank you everyone so much for the interesting views on pineapple , daddy long legs and all the other thrilling subjects too numerous to mention. I am now much better informed about the most important things in life. I can now drink my wine and laugh as much as I like and yes it may even wake up next doors dog. Actually pineapples have a pretty rotten deal don't they? Be consumed or rot. No wonder they're pissed off enough to want to eat people. I think I might go find the pineapple thread & put the opposite point of view.
