Sorry, but I've had a day at home today due to my DD being poorly off school and decided to have a little look round mumsnet as its been a while. What a load of twaddle most of it seems to be!
Don't get me wrong, there are some great threads and some really helpful advice on here, but so much of it is so bitchy!
Does anyone want to chat about something really positive? Do u think we can without someone taking offence? Am I just asking for it just asking???
Maybe I'm being provacative, but I just could not believe some of the stuff I was reading !

My husband is a daddy long legs. He is 6ft 4. So there.

My friend wants to get a kitten but keep it in a crate while she is at work. I've only heard of dogs being crated and for an entire day seems very cruel.

It wouldn't get any outdoor time either as she wants it to be a house cat. I want to talk her out of getting one but am I wrong here? Is crating cats the norm? Is this interesting to anyone?

If there is nothing interesting why don't you answer the above questions? Why do you want someone else to post something 'interesting', do you not have anything 'interesting' to post?

Personally I find loads of things on here interesting, there are loads of boards and threads it's not all Chat and AIBU, perhaps you should look round a bit more.
