Child modelling (August) part2

For some reason it is telling me that the thraed is to large to post again.

Mrratty> Im not really sure how they are taking the pics. The location that we have been given is Farnbourgh, I dont know if others have different locations.

Dylansluckymum, it's a nice area to live (not especially the bit we live in but that goes with the territory in the forces). We've got another year to eighteen months here then who knows where (hoping for an overseas posting). If you're down this way house-hunting and fancy a cuppa give us a shout!

i called kids as they had made a mistake with his new photos and they said it has been really quite for babies !

mim- that miss british isles thing just emailed me the previous email and i resubbmitted his info again with same pictures and it hasn't bounced back. you may want to try again

Ladies I could really do with some advice. I was chuffed to bits when DD got accepted by BK, but after reading up on here and elsewhere I decided to try another couple of agencies before making any decision. I sent her pics to B&B and MOT and today have received rejections from both. I guess what I want to know is, do BK accept pretty much everyone? I'm wondering if maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree with modelling for DD, I know as mums we all think our babies are gorgeous, but with both those agencies replying so quicky with rejections (a matter of days) I'm seriously reconsidering. Any advice on experience with BK would be greatly appreciated before I decide whether to sign her up with them or cut my losses.

ive heard mixed views on bizzy kidz, i would maybe ask if u could have an interview with them to ask more questions and see what work they have got for their kids.

did you say bubblegum accepted her? they are a very good agency.

No I didn't apply to bubblegum. Only BK, B&B and MOT.

bbwbabe sorry to hear you're having second thoughts don't know anything about BK but someone will give you good advice!

ds has his first job confirmed! i'm so excited!!! it's on monday for a few hours for a knitwear company. now the logistics of getting there as it's in herne hill but i still can't wait!!!

maybe you should apply to a few more agencies before you make your decision.

try: bubblegum, kids london, alpherbet kids, rascals, truly scrumptious, norrie carr and scallywags as they are all very good agencies.

i applied to all of these agencies before i made my decision with my 2 year old dd! then you will have more of an option. also i think urban angels are re opening their books soon so maybe try them.
dont give up if you think she can do well in modelling keep going and you will find the right agency for her im sure.

you're right i just had a look it's only 25 mins or so. will be interesting to take him on train during rush hour but i'm glad it's the train rather than the tube!

i think ellesmum is right bbwbabe it could be that bandb and mot just have other girls with similar looks to your dd.

BBWBabeLisa.You`ve already been given some great advice re agencies .Yes have heard mixed reviews too. I have seen a couple of their kids at castings and shoots not many. Mostly B &B,Kids London,urban Angels,MOT and Truly Scrumptious.
Was about to ask if your dh was in the forces and then saw your posting. My dh was in the army (REME) for 16 years and left in 1990 so sympathise with the nomadic lifestyle!
Good luck to all with castings/jobs this week.

Oops BBWBabe got my years mixed up Lisa DH left in 2000 not 1990!! hey our dhs may know each other!! DH`s last posting was an attachment to the Royal Artillery at Larkhill. He was in Germany for half of his time in the army. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you want to chat some more.

hi BBWBabeLisa i would give a few others a try i go a no from a couple and a yes from kids london , so it really is worth trying a few , not all agencies will take on the same kids! they all seem to want different looks etc, so do not give up and let us know how u got on with the other agenciesx
