As most of you know, I'm having my second mastectomy on Thursday. I will almost certainly need to have more chemotherapy.

This is my thread for those who wish to walk beside me on my journey.

Is that link going to be bombarded with messages for a 'Zombie' now?? The staff are going to be confuuuuuused!

Thinking of you, Zombie. Was checking the other thread for updates, and missed the existence of this one - duh-brain that I have! What a wonderful Woolly Hug.

Wore my no-horse scarf yesterday in your honour, going about Exeter. Thought I saw a few others, but I wasn't close enough to be sure.

Hope things went well, and you are recovering now. Thinking of you.

Evening all

Apologies for the lack of updates (and to thos who PM'd me I will respond in a sec!). A non co-operative phone and a day out of the house haven't helped!

All good news. Zombie has a reasonable night, although with low blood pressure which meant she needed lots of saline. But was back on form this morning, enough to have a hearty breakfast and to nip out for some 'fresh air'.

Even better, she now says she is likely to be allowed home tomorrow Which is just fabulous and waaaay earlier than I imagined.

Great news.
