The thread that Val started has now been moved to General Health. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/general_health/2016081-Zombie-needs-her-limbs-holding?msgid=46439734

Please keep posting there if you wish.

As most of you know, I'm having my second mastectomy on Thursday. I will almost certainly need to have more chemotherapy.

This is my thread for those who wish to walk beside me on my journey.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, I finished my chemo on Monday and also have a bmx booked in May. Hugs.

EverythingCounts · 16/04/2014 21:26

You don't know me but just posting to wish you well. Will keep my fingers crossed that all goes as well as it can tomorrow. Thanks

ExCinnamon · 16/04/2014 21:29

I'm thinking of you as well, Zombie. And I will be thinking of you tomorrow and virtually holding your limb. Good luck.

Valpollicella · 16/04/2014 21:30

my darling Zomb... am here on spirit. as always wish you were near

Love you lots.

IamtheZombie · 16/04/2014 21:34

Thank you, each and every one of you. I really am overwhelmed - in the nicest possible way.

I'm sending good Zombie vibes to all also on or starting on this journey.

Bee, I am having a couple of glasses of wine tonight but NO whisky.

Windy, is that the florist immediately to the left of the door to flat above NWB? My late DH had the tenancy on that flat over 20 years. He and his partner had their main office also above NWB but that one was accessed from Belvedere Grove. They used 97A as additional office space. I worked from there for many years.

The taxi is booked for 0630am, the kindle and notebook are charging, the list of what remains to be packed is written and being assembled. A visit to Tesco this evening has ensured that the cats will not go hungry. The laundry is all done but not the housework. I don't anticipate being able to sleep much if at all tonight so the plan is to complete the housework and then have a long, hot, soaky bath. If I manage to nap for a couple of hours all well and good. If not, I'll be getting plenty of sleep tomorrow! I will be setting multiple alarms in case I do go to sleep.

Nursey - you don't sound dodgy in your posts - just very nice!

NearTheWindymill · 16/04/2014 21:42

I think it is. I'll check it out when I buy the plant and will have reckie round the corner in Belvedere Grove. Will say a prayer for you at the church at the bottom of BG as well for you because it's all local like. Let me know if you want me have you added to the prayer list - you're entitled as an ex "local".
