I'm more of a rock chick myself so the categories don't really inspire me. I understand that rock at a party isn;'t all that popular but I thought I'd give your thread a bump.

dont know for a party like something with a beat to get party going but to start off i like chilling music

we all did air guitar to it as SIL's 40th last year, it was the best fun I had all year!

We are now listening to Sweet Talking Woman ELO one of the greatest tracks ever surely!
